When Dawes said Holden reminded him of someone, he meant Miller. I think the subtitles are wrong (not 100% but still), and that he said "just missing the hat" and not "just missing the heart".
It's remarkable just how bad the expanse's subtitles are, there's multiple mistakes like that per episode.
Yes, from now you'll see a lot of cliffhangers. However, to the show's credit, they're not as bad as other shows. They don't stop the episode right before a thing happens. They show you the things. The hang comes in the "what does it mean" of the thing you saw. Just like ep. 6: you say the blue thing. Now you're watching what the implications are.
Hey, just want to let you know if you havent done the reaction to the new aot episoude yet, you should watch crunchyrolls translation because the others are pretty bad.
If you watch the ending of 2x6 again, the blue thing at the end didn't leave. It exploded.

Book 2 doesnt end until halfway through season 3, and then the second half of season 3 is all of book 3 because the show was getting canceled so they speed through it.
