The Expanse 2x01 Reaction

Hola!

Jiminy Cricket was Pinocchio’s conscience, like his guiding light, at least in the Disney movie version of the story.

"extrasolar" in this case means from outside the solar system. In reality Phoebe actually comes from the Kuiper belt out past Neptune but somehow made its way inward until it was captured by Saturn's gravitation field. I think SyFy originally did a 2 episode premiere for season 2, so this episode pairs pretty well with the next one.

"Gunny" is short for her rank which is Gunnery Sergeant. Her name is Bobbie.

The calm before the storm...

It just gets better from here. And the crew is the best :)

Gunny is also a rank. It means Gunnery Seargant. You will get her real name later.

Duster is a derogatory term for martians. Don't say it near Gunny

“He’s calm and then shoots you” is a perfect description of Amos
