I have been waiting for this "Hank Moment" from these two ever since watching them reach to 5x14 in Ozymandias. I just hoped this wouldn't get spoiled.
The $18,000 is on top of the "market price" of the house. His situation sucks cause noone wants to be kicked out of their home, but he's being treated pretty fairly with all things considered
It was our Christmas present to L & M that we didn’t spoil the Hank & Gomez surprise in this episode.
Pretty sure it's just a general rule to not spoil L&M anything at all, but having the episode reaction in time for Christmas is nice nonetheless.

I love this episode, Hank! I'm not sure if you noticed it but in the first scene on the balcony you can see that Kim is extremely uncomfortable with Jimmy putting his beer bottle on the ledge, to the point that she angerly grabs it at the end. Then in the second balcony scene she not only doesn't care about Jimmy playing with the bottle, she throws hers off. I have theories on the symbolism there but I'd rather not share just incase I vaguely spoil anything. Also, I think the ants eating the ice cream represents how Jimmy will be consumed by all his new criminal clients. And last thing about the bar scene with Mike, he wants the picture to come down because he remembers Zeigler talking about how his father had worked on the Sydney Opera House.

One thing I noticed about Kim & Jimmy in these past couple episodes. Kim is rather cold with him and the relationship doesn't seem very happy... until they start getting into trouble. Last episode it was when Kim soaked him with the water. And now, throwing the beer bottles. These little acts of troublemaking bring them closer together and seem to inject some life into their relationship (for a short time anyway).
I also have a theory on the symbolism of the beer on the balcony scenes but I'll keep it to myself for now :)

Like... mispronouncing the english pronounciation of Ignacio or the spanish pronounciation of Ignacio? If it's the ladder, of course. It's like how English speakers pronounce Japanese names, it's the wrong ''japanese pronounciation'' but it's not actually ''wrong''. If you go to Google Translate and type Ignacio and play the audio, they're actually saying ''right''

Another Awesome episode in the best season of the show. The other seasons dont even compare to this season. The pacing the story telling is in perfect pace in this season !!!
Remember we learned early in Breaking Bad that Krazy 8 was an informant for Hank. But now we've learned that he was a fake informant working for Lalo.
