ep 11 shouldnt still be locked?
Your post episode discussion reminded me of this exchange: Pixis: "I once heard a song that someday humans will stop fighting, but when will that be?" Erwin: "Humans will continue to fight one another until the day there's one human or less." Pixis: *laughs* "I was hoping for a better answer than some bleak hyperbole."
Can't wait for Episode 11, probably my favorite of the season (tho it's a rare pick). glad you two are enjoying the short break from the craziness of S4 before it kicks back into gear
Bro I’m sorry but if ep11 is ur favorite episode of the season then u gotta stop watching the show
@emmanuel milongo comment above contains a spoiler, be careful
Maybe the comment got edited, because I don't see a spoiler. Everything there was already explicitly established or would implicitly have to be true based on what's been explicitly established. If you're worried about their discussion being deliberately influenced in a certain direction, that's understandable. I wouldn't exactly call that spoilers though.
To add to your discussion of what Kruger said, he said the (pretty much) same line as Grisha (Eren's father) in season 1 episode 9: "If you want to save Mikasa, Armin and everyone else, you must learn how to control this ability!"; whereas Kruger said "If you want to save Mikasa, Armin and everyone else, you must see it through." Now take that as you will 👀
Eren wanted peace that time, was Eren plan to hizuru nation helped Paradis to make commerce(trade) with other nations, because that way people will see the they all want peace and they are not devils. hiruzu declined for profit and other nations wanted to see then as devils, because liked you say, helped in world stability
Guys, stay out of the comments, and all social media (especially Twitter and YouTube) until AOT is over. A few months ago, I saw a YouTube channel that was especially dedicated to posting spoilers. They made videos with thumbnails and titles purposefully to spoil key events from the manga and anime.
Are you talking about Foxxen Anime? God I hate that channel. Got spoiled because of their thumbnails and video titles so many times. Eventually I started reading the manga and I promised myself to write a long hate e-mail to them after finishing the manga lol, but I said why waste my time..
Chad Eren
Oh shit here we go again
youtube is a dangerous place to enter due to the 'suggested' videos and youtubers adding spoilers in the thumbnails... but regarding that video, yes it's a very nice one as well as the other ones the channel has.
I would love if u guys reacted to Zurik23m's Eren video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7e3BIPdEfo&ab_channel=TUNADEN Maybe after u finish s4 part 1. Its only 5 min long and summarizes a lot of Eren's mind set (copy pasted from another patreon member because i support the idea)
that would be awesome
A reminder: eren has some memories from the founding titan and some others from the attack titan. Also when kruger said “to save mikasa and armin” that can also mean that he had memories from a futur attack titan which is eren
stop posting spoilers, especially when you are offering your own commentary/color/interpretation on what happened. If you ever have to say "a reminder about this obscure thing" just stop yourself
OK, Now Its getting spicy. 35:46, "To save Mikasa, Armin and everyone else."
I binge watched all of season 4 within a span of a week with my ex-gf....ii needed to do this to properly process the plot and my emotions
did you know there is a channel with japanese translations of your videos ? :p
Name of the channel? Should been removed from YT

You guys should be storytellers. You analyze every single line and have good what-if theories and make good predictions.
thats why they are my favorite reactors
I don't know how the show ends, so i'm following along with you guys as well but it just seems too simplistic to make eren the final villlan and suddenly the world is gonna love paradis (if the crew kills him). This issue stems far beyond just one single person on either side. Like if the solution to all of this is to kill one single person, im pretty sure this entire conflict wouldn't have happened initially. Just my thoughts, could be wrong obviously. Its a good theory on paper
I don't think they said it would solve everything or completely change the perception of the whole world, of course not. They are just thinking it as a potential move to secure some kind of peace. The people who would be safe from a huge crisis such as a full rumbling being the ones that stop it and save everyone would be potentially a big step towards stopping this war. They also discussed some other things like the possibility of titans being gone, that conflict always exists etc.

Love your suggestion. Never seen a reactor watch's zurik's videos. The Eren one hits hard, the Reiner one is absolutely incredible. And he has more!
To clarify a bit ---- Part of the Hizuru plan is that they can control all the resources (iceburst stone) on Paradis. In the railroad flashback, when they mention "the deal fell through", that was a *separate* proposal from Paradis to Hizuru: "What if you help us trade with (and become allies to) all the other countries?" That's the part that Hizuru declined. They want the original plan where they get to control ALL the iceburst stone.
Conny is definitely struggling to cope with Sasha's death. I believe it was in the previous episode that he referred to Sasha as his "twin" and said that it felt like he lost half of himself. Every time I watch that scene on the airship where Conny tells everyone that Sasha has died, it breaks my heart to see him crying out of only one eye, as if he really has "lost half of himself". I'm glad you guys are able to appreciate and understand the many, many perspectives.
In the last scene of this episode, Mikasa's and Armin's clothing mirrors what they were always wearing as little kids. Mikasa's pale pink robe is similar to the dress and long, pale pink sweater she always wore, and Armin has on again a light blue shirt with a sky blue sweater. (I can't think of any particular reason for this beyond the show just wanting to twist the knife, which it certainly accomplishes 😅)
Really interesting post episode conversation. Also, I can bet that you WILL get spoiled during part 2. Better find a moderator or just don't look at the comments during part 2. For YouTube, the top voted comments should be fine I guess but especially the comments underneath the top voted comments are the most dangerous ones lol. Also I don't use Twitter so I don't know the specifics but this one reactor used a filter system by entering certain keywords that would block tweets that talk about AoT. You could do the same
Seeing how much of a dad Levi is to the kids is one of the small glimmers of happiness now. And yes Levi is the type of dad to beat their kid's ass when they misbehave apparently lol
I love the sunset scene, one of the few happy moments of season 4. Everyone trying to save each other, blushing after Eren was openly expressing his feelings about his friends which is rare and the look between Mikasa and Eren at the end, everything was relatively lighthearted and really cute. The music was fantastic as well.
It's natural to question Eren because he forced his friends to do a horrible and risky thing. It still doesn't fully take away from the idea of him trying to save those he cares about though imo, remember that the other option at that point was waiting to be attacked by Marley which could have resulted in even more casualties for them, possibly even more of his friends too. We ve seen with episodes 9&10 that they tried and considered different things but with also such limited time they didn't find anything better.
Not to start a debate here but that's a very black-and-white Floch-like way of thinking. "Waiting for death inside the walls". They could have been more proactive and especially couldve got a grip on the situation if Eren didn't hide information from them. This episode demonstrates that Eren isn't willing to make compromises or sacrifice anything on his own side. Historia having to pump out babies is awful sure, but she is one person and despite how hard it would be on her she was willing to grin and bear it. But Eren wants to have his cake and eat it too (And Historia ended up pregnant and miserable either way!)
I really think it's amazing how you both understand the characters and what SNK is trying to portray in terms of themes, concepts etc. and big part of it is because you actually are emotionnally aware of what this and this implies for a person/a group of people etc. Like most of the time you don't project what you'd want or what you'd feel, you just accept what the characters "feels" and it makes it really easier for you to understand what is going on and what the author is trying to tell us. And the fact you're doing that, probably makes you enjoy SNK a lot more because you don't feel like the show is going somewhere it wasn't supposed to because you pictured yourself a clear path that was never hinted in the first place. You just accept and understand what is going on and you don't try to project your own ideas like they are fact and if the show doesn't go that way then it means it got lost etc. Amazing reaction once again, you girls are really like my god tier reactors when it comes to snk lol (and death note's reactions are starting to take the same path)
Please guys, if you really do like the outro, check the lyrics while listening to it on YT, it's one the best outro ever.
yeah youre right all the trolls will be out in full when part 2 airs to spoil, especially given that its the end of the show. definitely stay away from twitter and youtube comments, would have to be even more cautious than you have been
The worst part is there's rumours that Part 2 won't even complete the series and there will be a cinematic conclusion, aka a movie that takes a whole extra year to come out in english
Quick note - the trade agreement with Hizuru didn't fall through. Hizuru just didn't want to help Paradis trade with nations other than Hizuru in order to keep all the resources for themselves!
With the Mikasa tattoo thing yeah because of some adaptation choices the anime made you just have to pretend Mikasa wore bandages around her wrist the entire series hahaha
The debate you guys had towards the end has been the debate of the entire fandom for the last 3-4 years .
Yeah for some reason this episode just kind of forgot to put '1 year earlier' for the flashback with the train railway and such, even tho episode 9 wrote '3 years earlier' and the flashback in the beginning of this episode wrote '2 years earlier'. but yeah the three flashbacks inch closer to the present
While it would still be helpful to include that Eren did say he had just over 5 years left which told us the timing of that scene.
Aye, we all believed in Eren at least once, but when I watched these episodes, I did wonder to what extent is he able to do in order to achieve whatever he wants.
And yet, we still dont specifically know what Eren wants.
