I believe the issue from looking at the pay stub was the part that Lydia told him during his "hiring." That Gus was going to cover the entire tax burden, which was over $8000 on that stub alone. I just don't think Mike was comfortable with just sitting at home and collecting, plus he wanted to actually be able to say he did the job if it was ever questioned.
GOD KIRA IS COMING!!!
wrong show but HELL YEAH
is DN coming out today?
A couple of details that I love in this episode: the music playing at Chuck's funeral is the same piece that he tries to play on the piano in season 2. Also in the flash forward when Gene is passed out we see that the sink at the Cinnabon is overflowing, and then when Howard calls later Jimmy is standing at the sink just staring at the water pouring and Kim walks over and turns it off for him. It's a great visual metaphor for Jimmy having Kim in his life vs being completely on his own.
Ive seen this episode so many times and never noticed the music until rewatching with them! This show is so amazing at all the tiny details!
Yes, that Tequila was the same Tequila that was super expensive. It's called Zafiro Añejo and it's also the same Tequila that Gus used to poison Don Eladio and the other cartel captains in BB.
the timeline is BCS takes place beginning in 2002 and BB takes place in 2008
And just for further clarification, this episode takes place during the last few days of March 2003. Still a longggg ways away from the BB timeline
