what makes the scene with Levi giving the survey corps emblem to this random guy is that it is the one he picked up from Petras body in the scene a few minutes before. Probably to keep it for himself but then he gave it away without hesitation.
It looks like it was a hard time for you guys with this episode but your reaction are golden and prove that this show is really something else and a true masterpiece. I like how you live with the history and feels for the caracters too. As always, I am looking up to see the next episodes!

Also i think it's hard to be mad at crowd because they think Erwin just take people and their loved ones to suicide missions for pointless massacre.
That was Petra's badge that Levi gave. He just pretended it was Ivan's :'-(

People will never going to understand suffering of soldiers until they didn't leave the walls... This war is not about money or territory, this war is about saving hope of humanity.
AOT will certainly make you feel some things. That look on Levi's face gets me every time, like he's dead inside due to all of the trauma from losing his comrades.
I don鈥檛 know if you noticed or or not but Levi took Petra鈥檚 Survey Corps badge off her jacket (as a memory I guess) but to comfort the guy who went back for Ivan, Levi gave him Petra鈥檚 badge and lied saying it was Ivan鈥檚. He may not express much be he鈥檚 so compassionate to others.
