Attack on Titan 1x16 Reaction
put jean high on the list of characters we would give our lives for, even though we don't know how to pronounce his name

Its not 'the law/government/superior officers' that Levi follows/respects, its Erwin.
Stick to these subtitles as everyone has said they are by far the best so far.
perfect subtitles. nice find!
Jean like the pants
It’s not. It’s a French name. just go on google translate, set it to French and type in “Jean” and listen to it. That’s how you’re supposed to say it. (And that’s how they say it in the show too)
Erwin is the goat. No need for more words
HorribleSubs uses the Crunchyroll translation, and is pretty much one of the better subs available, so I would highly recommend sticking with this for all the seasons.
Erwin is one of the best character in the show, youre really gonna love and cry a lot of the characters that attack on titan give you
Its pronounced Shjjjon xD
Best translation so far. I think this might even be crunchyrolls
Subtitles much better in this one xD
I think Jean's name is pronounced like "John" but more... French? I just try to pronounce it like the characters do and that's kind of what it sounds like
exactly. you just emphasis the "j" more than a regular jon
You should watch the OVAs "Ilses Notebook" and "No Regrets" after season 1
Will you watch all the OVA’s at some point? After season 2 you can watch all the remaining OVA’s that you can’t watch after season 1 I think. There are some funny ones but even they have character development in them. I can’t say anything else cus then I’ll spoil. xD but please react to the other ones after season 2.
im sure we will.. which ones are we supposed to watch after s1?
Christa/Krista was the one who gave Sasha bread in episode 3!
ohh yeah
don't forget to watch the after credit scene in the last episode of this season :)
What was your fav part in the next episode?
the female titan! so many questions, and some answers that just gave us more questions, it was a really good episode
Can’t wait until you react to the OVA’s. Btw I see you have been affected by the Erwin spell of giving your life happily under his command. It happens for everyone he can literally make me hyped about giving my life. xD
I can’t wait for the next one, so excited
that reiner scare took years off our life
If you guys want more on Levi's backstory, you should watch the two OVA episodes about him. They're as good as the main show.
As good as the main show. I’ll have to disagree there but they are still great.
Horriblesubs is a great translation, stick to that, I use it as well
Stick to that (Horriblesubs) throughout your entire journey of watching this anime. Best translation ever, 10000000%
