The Penguin Episode 4 Reaction

You guys HAVE to react to The Batman deleted scene with the Joker. I can’t believe no one has mentioned it in the comments yet. It doesn’t really have anything to do with The Penguin, but it’s such a creepy and amazing scene. It’s on YouTube.
I wish Sofia Falcone was more like her comic book version.
Anyone know if they have watched Dark on Netflix? It’s one of my favorite shows of all time and I think they would seriously enjoy it. 3 seasons of a perfectly written mystery I’d love to see them try and solve.
This really shows what people meant in the batman movie when they talked about carmine falcone being awful and in control of the city. He had sofia locked up and convicted for his own crimes At the drop off a hat.
tremendo capitulo, que horrible ver lo de Sofia, volver a ver la serie esta haciendo que disfrute mucho mas lo buena que es
Sofia has every right to burn everything to the fucking ground
Such a phenomenal, POWERFUL episode....wow..
Just boosting Mr Krabs’ comment a bit so it doesn’t get missed. Hope you can help him out with this when you get a chance 🙏
Hi! I almost forgot, for visibility there’s a patron here @Mr Krabs who I believe has made a mistake with their annual subscription and is hoping to have it resolved with you as according to Patreon TOS it’s up to creator discretion
thank you mr toasty toast
I’m not saying this in defense of Julius at all who I find slimey, but Arkham is a place where manipulative murdering psychopaths are locked up (like the Joker or the Riddler), so he’s probably used to all sorts of psychopathic people trying to put on convincing acts and when Sofia wouldn’t break he started realizing she was innocent
just one of those all time TV episodes and all time performances. perfect and haunting and empowering and disgusting and sad.
lol support all women over 40 made me think of Lindsay Clancy
Incredible episode. You understand how the central conflict with Sophia is control vs domination. She experienced a violent and terrifying loss of control by Arkham for daring to remember the most traumatic thing that could happen to a child: Loosing her mother. As a result her plan with bliss is the externalisation of Arkham to the rest of Gotham this time with her in the place of the doctors and the rest of them as mice.
I’m not usually a fan of superhero stories, but the Batman universe and DC is very rich in character development that it really stands out to me, its impossible not to appreciate it. Bruce Wayne, Joker, Harley Quinn, the Riddler are good examples of well-structured, human characters. Now seeing the care put into developing even secondary figures like Sofia and Oz made me love the entire Batman universe. I know it’s an established franchise for Cinema, but The Penguin convinced me that Gotham is perfect for television and I see huge potential for more stories in a TV series format. I think this is the most disturbing version of Arkham ever put on screen?? The movies gave us a basic idea, but witnessing every step of Sofia’s experience delivers a much more real and palpable sense of the asylum. It’s far more than just a prison where criminals get sent after Batman beats them up and i have to admit that’s is another aspect that makes so compelling for me. It raises questions about humanity and the cruelty of Gotham’s penal system, especially regarding patients with mental health issues. BTW, Cristin Milioti (Sofia) won an Emmy for her performance, deserved!!
I come out of my cryopod once a week to watch these
Not you posting this one when I'm trying to sleep at more normal hours 😔 Well, time to practice some patience and leave this for tomorrow at lunch I guess 💀
