Jujutsu Kaisen 2x15 Reaction

Sort of the simplest way to explain the Toji situation with Granny's technique is just after Granny died no cursed energy was being poured into keeping the technique going and for the body to exist here, but because Toji's body doesn't need any cursed energy to function and the Grandsons soul was gone, he cointuned to exist. The Grandson is dead because, when Toji's body took over, the Grandson's soul wasn't compatible (since again, Toji's body has zero cursed energy) and was snuffed out. "Toji" is just a body functioning on feint instincts it has, without a soul. Hope this helped a little bit or if it did the opposite, my bad lol. Great reaction and discussion as always.
They couldn't leave while Toji was fighting Dagon because Megumi didn't have the energy to open an escape route again after Toji interrupted the first one. Megumi was the only one that can create a domain so he's the only one that could potentially make an escape route.
Just wanna say that I got the notif for this while at a party and I was going to leave watching this for the morning after but although I was dead tired by the time I got to bed I was still itching to watch it😭 So I did. I seriously feel like I opened a third eye during this reaction series because I never thought I'd have this much fun watching JJK. I can't wait for your guys' next reaction!!!
And like you said go to show how Strong Jogo is because the only person who seen that fight was Gojo and he got absolutely demolished… but was actually the strongest full power curse we’ve ever seen up until this poin. That’s what’s so great about the show. It’s all perspective of the time.
Just goes to show how strong Gojo is because Toji hasn’t gotten any stronger since he died 😂😂😭😭
It is so funny how they still dont see what Shibuya is all about. These 3 have to be alive is so funny hehehe.
i love how we see other characters answer to who is gojo satoru earlier in the season all defaulting to "he's the strongest", but geto's answer is just about gojo as a person and their relationship... he really was the only one to see gojo as a person who also needed support from their unjust jujutsu society rather than an infallible force of nature oughhhgghhh i love them
even the characters like yuuji who genuinely love gojo aren't free from accidentally dehumanising him a little, due to how their way of life makes everyone see him as a (literally) untouchable steadfast presence who can handle everything (but shouldn't have to).... the politics of the jujutsu society are so interesting, the more we see the more i understand why geto was so jaded
i wish i could control time so i can see the reactions to future episodes
The bluray doesn't just stop the dim effect, there is also extra/added scenes to it i believe. And with Jogo, he still burned everyone, the girls survived because of their technique I believe, as said by Sukuna. I think you are placing fault on Jogo because you assume everyone on our side will survive. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen. Just a small detail you may have missed.
Has anyone told them abt the extended cut for 2x17?
I love how much they understand the characters and the show epically sukuna he is just evil for the love of the game
they literally explained the girls survived burning to death because of their special cursed technique. nothing to do with the other 3. the rest all got burned. There is no "problem" with jogos power. You just made that up because you weren't paying attention
Anyone else in the season 3 waiting room at the moment?
peak peak peak
When they get hit with the geto flashback https://www.youtube.com/shorts/8aNV0jFpQIY
we're getting to the episodes that explain why this arc is called the Shibuya INCIDENT😂😂😂. because my goodness did the Forces of Evil really take a huge dump on the jujutsu sorcerers. and im not going to lie, the fact that 2 Grade 1 sorcerers got dispatched sooo easily shows how bad the odds are, cuz this proves that the moment Gojo got sealed, it was Over for the Sorcerers considering any one of the disaster curses and Choso could Literally and without hyperbole, could kill any of our sorcerers if they met in battle. Jogo could wipe them all out by himself.
I think i've said this before but i wanna say again how much JJK encorporates luck or coincidence as apart of its storytelling. what i mean is how just like in real life, stuff happens constantly that dont feel like any plan or there's no order, stuff just happens to you sometimes, biggest example is Jogo who somehow had the mifortune of finding himself in a situation where he was facing the TWO STRONGEST CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW😂😂😂.

gojo really skews everyone's understanding of powerscaling because his technique bends reality/physics, he has a vast amount of cursed energy, physically he's very strong too, and he has the six eyes and in jujutsu battles, compatibility is the big prevailing factor because it's like rock-paper-scissors where if you're a bad matchup against someone, you'll likely lose. in gojo's case he's a bad matchup against almost everyone, that's why the narrator always does that thing where he/she says "with the exception of gojo satoru" also, it was mentioned in season 1 that jogo is about "8 or 9 sukuna-fingers worth" meaning he's about 40-50% as strong as full-power sukuna -- gojo says he'll struggle with full power sukuna so we can assume that he's in the same realm as him
Is always happiness from here now… ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Jogoat 🥹
fucking love you guys. You and Ralaz are by far the best reactors
Is this the world without Satoru Gojo? Insane.
The conversation at the end of the video about how we ended up here in this crazy mess cause of Gojo and Geto bond is really that one meme that describes JJK as "two guys had a break up in front of the KFC and made it everyone's problem"
What I love about the Shibuya arc is that it really is a perfect representation of a chaotic situation where things just happened. So much of what happens in this arc after the sealing of Gojo isn’t planned at all. It demonstrates how close this society always was to chaos and how quickly things can get out of hand when the person keeping everything in check (Gojo) is gone. There are other great anime arcs out there where the villains have a great plan that comes to fruition. But I think this is the only arc that captures the fact that in reality when things go sideways even the people who unleashed the situation quickly lose control over it.
blu ray is a must for the next few episodes. the original release was unfinished and the blu ray adds the finished scenes (the added scenes are phenomenal)
People have been commenting this since episode 1. They know.
This is not mentioned any more in the anime but the manga or the fan book mentions that Nanako's (the blonde Geto daughter) power involves manipulating a photographed subject she captures with the camera on her cellphone. That's how they survived Jogo - the selfie the girls took acted as a respawn point basically. Mimiko's power, which was showcased in JJK 0, appears to be hanging her targets to death using a noose and a doll. Whatever is done to the stuffed toy is reflected on the target of the technique, with hanging being her preferred way of attack. I felt bad for the girls because they loved Geto so much
Such a great episode!
Jogo is so so strong. It just so happens we've really only ever seen him fight the strongest hahaha
POTENTIAL
this is peak
Jogo, with his hothead personality and his introduction of getting demolished by Gojo, understandably can be dismissed as weak. However, Jogo is the strongest of the disaster curses, and that’s made clear now when he takes out 3 grade 1 sorcerers in 10 seconds. I kinda love the record getting set straight in such a shockingly casual manner. …Of course right after this, he has to fight Sukuna. He’s just unlucky when it comes to matchups lol
Actually mahito is stronger than him, since jogo doesnt have technique that could touch mahitos soul.
I cannot believe once again my emotional support empathetic blonde character has become extra crispy.
The author saw the Armin treatment and was like “I want that too”
We're getting into the real meat now. Enjoy all the savory animation juices.
Also, on your comments about the strength of curse spirits. You'll get more "exact" information via some exposition next season. But the world very much exists in a balance between the strength of sorcerers and the strength of curses. It is implied a few episodes ago with those older sorcerers that when he was born, the balance of the world of jujutsu shifted such that much stronger curses, and in turn, much stronger sorcerers would begin to be born. I.e Mahito and Megumi respectively. Jujutsu as a "force" has an innate balancing mechanism, which is why things like pacts exist.
Gojo was also talking about this to Gakuganji in season 1 about the rising power of curses and how the elders wouldn't be able to avoid this any further
They dimmed some scenes as a precautionary measure against triggering epilepsy.
That scene of the girls asking Geto about Gojo while brushing his hair is one of my favorites. As a lil fun fact, the book Geto was reading there is called "The colors of a mother"🥲 "We love you, we love you, we love you... but you... you're not him" Never fails to make me cry tbh💔
Geto's voice is so soft and warm in that scene. You really can compare it to the brain's attempt to imitate him and how it pales. Geto did what he did because he cared for the things he cared whereas the brain is a cold, calculating entity
About the dimming and Blu ray. For some reason, every episode of season 2 on Crunchyroll has been replaced by the Blu ray version except for 15, 16, 18, and 19. Every episode before and after that is the Blu ray version with no dimming. Episode 17 (the episode that has the most changes in the Blu ray version) is famously and episode that was very unfinished in the TV version but that episode has been replaced with the Blu ray version on Crunchyroll so there should be no problems there. I don’t know why they didn’t replace 15, 16, 18, and 19, but they didn’t.
This ^
Just as a note, Sukuna *does* already have a pact with Yuji. But due to the conditions of the fight that happened prior to it being forged. Sukuna is the *only* person who knows that part exists, as well as being the only one who knows the conditions of it activation besides the audience. So when Jogo says he should make one. It's because he doesn't know of it's existance, and Sukuna's lying by omission to Jogo should indicate Sukuna has a plan that he refuses to tell even Fake Geto/The cursed spirits, not just Yuji and the other members of Jujutsu society.
You guys till need to know that this is not what maki can reach. she has a little cursed energy which makes her far weaker than toji he is this strong because he has literally 0. its important u understand this for later
Unnecesary comment
Toji was too scared of the Jogoat so he had to take the fight outside 🙂↔️
This head-canon is really funny to me
the bluray is not only for removing ghosting (dimming), but there are episodes like 2x17 where there are certain scenes added or improved from the tv release of the episode.
The scenes are already added on crunchyroll versions
This season has been chaotic and jam-packed but this episode unlocked another level. At this point you think the story is already going above the speed limit with how many concomitant things are happening at the same time in this arc but in this episode the author pushes the gas pedal even further and completely breaks it. It's quite overwhelming to see how things can even escalate further in a span of 1 minute. Though I understand the fast paced full on chaos might not be for everyone, i do like to commend the author for not really holding anything back in this cursed night at shibuya. I usually like it when in shows multiple important plot points that were set up before all suddenly come together in one night/day. It's been 2 hours since Gojo arrived at Shibuya. It's full blown tension from now on...
I think the blu-ray is only super important in episode 17 since there's a lot of extra stuff/it really feels like a final product
u guys are fr the best reactors ever
undisputed queens of this reaction s***
