One Piece 2x04 Reaction

I'm not sure if I missed it but did Lola talk about her trip in Japan? I would love to hear about her experience. I loved how clean the city and beautiful the nature is.

not gonna watch cuz ill die of cringe, but still gonna heart for the algo. hope patreon works like youtube lol.

I can understand this reaction tbh, Little Garden isn't my favourite arc or anything

Loved the way this episode shined with the sets. Also, the costume department was putting in work here and overall. Pretty much every costume is pulled from the manga or anime. There are a lot of drawings Oda did called color spreads that are just random drawings of the Strawhats in all kinds of random ass clothes and scenarios. The shirt Sanji was wearing was pulled from one of these where Sanji is barely visible in the background he is so small, like grain of rice sized shit. The costume department took his shirt from that for this episode. Zoro’s pink capris are from a color spread as well. Also, they put weights in the giants clothes to make everything move slower to look like it would theoretically look for a big ass giant to move about. The props were on point too, some of the plants look like they were pulled from Super Mario or Little Shop of Horrors and you could tell they weren’t cgi. For the people current with the anime these Elbaph references hit different right about now lol.

The actress who plays Miss Goldenweek is Sophia Anne Caruso, a well known theater actress best known for playing Lydia Deetz in the Broadway musical Beetlejuice a role that earned her a Theatre World Award nomination when she was just 17 years old https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Msj7MsPVVZI

The title of the next episode “Wax On, Wax Off” references the iconic training phrase from the 1984 film The Karate Kid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P11Bcpyw4g

The list of Baroque Works member that have been mentioned so far is: Mr.7 ( Killed by Zoro at S1) Mr. 9 Miss Wednesday (Nefertari Vivi, Princess of Alabasta) Mr. 8 (Igaram, Captain of the Royal Guard) Miss Monday (The nun) Mr. 5 Miss Valentine Mr. 3 Miss Golden Week Miss All Sunday (Flower Girl) Mr. 0 The Unluckies

They really do have to stop at every island. That is how the log post works, you have to stop and stay on the island until the log post (compass) resets and points to a random nearby island. if you don't the log post (compass) doesn't point anywhere and you get lost.

"Thursday is purple" 🤣

"It's a kid friendly show" who's gonna tell them 🫣
