My single biggest issue with the boys in these last two seasons is the ridiculous hyper-sexual dialogue. It’s so childish and churlish. It was always a part of the show but it was never as constant and overbearing as it has been since S4. Also the overall storytelling and character writing was better so it balanced it out. It’s not that it’s too disgusting, it’s just eye-rolling and cringeworthy. It all feels forced.

You could truly think that this Season is okay if you don't re-watch earlier seasons. Homelander's parents are normal people for the public. So when he says now that Soldier Boy is his father, then the public will probably question Homelander's origin story, right? We will get at least a scene where an interviewer will question that, right? And the V1 plot in this Season is so annoying... Why does Vought destroy the formula, when Stan Edgar himself told us in Season 2 that Compound V is the greatest asset of his company? They would of course keep that, even so if they don't use it. I mean they even have kept the Nazi history of Stormfront. Butcher telling Ryan to kill himself... It's what Becca would have wanted... In season 2 an 3 Butcher literally tried everything to keep Ryan alive and save him. You could say he became a twisted evil fellow after Season 4 but then it doesn't make any sense, why our crew again just allowed Butcher to come back without tension between each other. But I like the scenes where the show parodies modern America and corporate Vought, that everything is just about making money.

Don't worry ladies, everybody agrees that Kimiko's lines are cringe. The writers seemed to think that just because she was mute and only talked in sign language before means that the moment she finally can use her voice, the way she speaks will be totally different from the way she used sign language.

Why does lola hate soldier boy so much again? Lol he hasn't really done anything at this point. Bit of an asshole sure but virtually all of the characters qualify in that regard
