New Short Anime Poll

WHERE IS RE ZERO GIRLS PLS :(

So exited so for their reaction to the first episode!, just wondering if it’s gonna be sub or dub, I’d prefer the adv dub, but sub is better than the Netflix dub.

Anyone knows what days of the week EVA would be and its once or twice a week?

I hope that one day the girls will watch The Summer Hikaru Died. When I saw it in the short anime poll, it gave me hope that they would watch it. ❤️‍🩹:(

My fallen 86 soldiers, we lost but we will fight to get an 86 reaction on this channel. It has some themes of AOT so it would’ve been so good to see the girls reaction but we go again

LM didn’t realize they just signed up for six movies 🤣 *I haven’t seen them I have no idea if they are required watching*

evangelion for sure

If I only I could vote for Takopi AND Orb. Going for Orb this time to hopefully catch Takopi in the next one

Watched Eva earlier this year and it wasn't for me. Maybe they'll get into it though. Hopefully they get around to Orb at some point, I feel they'd enjoy that one.

Its extremely sad that you did not just react to takopi as said before because now, this show will never win! Its only 6 episodes and the hype will just go down even right now its basically forgotten. Was looking forward to this reaction but very disappointed now

Maaan I’m bummed that dororo, parasite or steins gate didn’t make it to the list 😫

I know the poll isn’t for movies but you two should watch Perfect Blue. If you want a short series, then Paranoia Agent. I think you would really like the psychological elements of Satoshi Kon’s works.

Please react to grand blue someday

Since English isn't my native language, I only just found out from the comments that streaming platforms like Netflix actually replace or just mute certain EDs and soundtracks due to licensing issues. It also seems like Netflix's subtitle translation doesn't have the best reputation among fans. So I went ahead and tracked down the 1080p version with the ADV Classic Translation. Here’s the download link: https://archive.org/download/neon-genesis-evangelion_1080p_adv_1996/neon-genesis-evangelion_1080p_adv_1996_archive.torrent Girls, if you’d prefer download and watch this instead of streaming it on Netflix, please keep these quick tips in mind: 1. Make sure to download the .mkv files, not the .mp4 ones. 2. The downloaded files default to the English dub, and the default subtitle track only covers the opening theme song lyrics, leaving the actual dialogue unsubbed. You'll need to tweak a few settings before diving in. The video itself comes with the original Japanese audio and multiple softsub tracks built-in. I highly recommend using VLC player to switch the audio track to Japanese, and change the subtitles to English Subtitles (2D4U TS/ADV Translation). If anyone in the comments feels there’s a better version out there, please feel free to drop a link!

I'm going to say it - Serial Experiments Lain. Now, it's a bit on the more challenging end of things. But I personally really love it. And Lain is a really sympathetic girl.

obligatory witch hat atelier rec for future polls <3

The others are good animes, Evangelion is a piece of art

Since Evangelion seems to be the winner, there is some watch order info you should know. First watch all episodes of original anime. Then watch the movie End of Evangelion. You can stop there if you want, or you can watch the Rebuilt movies which are retelling of the anime with changes.

I watched Eva when I was 17 and depressed so I really only remember how it made me feel at the time instead of what actually happened in the show😭so this will be an interesting revisit... Really hope they get the chance to watch Witch Hat Atelier one day!!!!

Sigh I guess it's Eva. I really wanted them to watch Orb, 86, or YLIA. I've always wanted to re-watch Eva to see if I'll like it as much as everyone else. Maybe this will be it

So many comments are about Orb, but the silent voters kicked our ass :'(

I'm so sad about Orb not winning

I'm kinda happy that NGE is winning, cause of the timing with jjk, now there's a chance they can actually catch a reference they would have missed in futur episodes

Watch evangelion afret jjk in the long slot animes, please. It will take like more than half a year. Instead, here you can watch multiple short shows.

Noooo 86 😭😭

obv is gonna be evangelion but im really surprised orb is 2nd its one of my favourites

I guess I have a better chance at winning the lottery than getting a Steins;Gate reaction.

Crazy coincidence I just watched the bringing evangelion to America documentary on YouTube last night.

Also orb is such a must watch for you two girls i know you will love it so i really hope you will watch it in the near future🙏

Giving my vote to takopi as promised ❤️ i am a bit surprised it’s that low. Well as long as your lie in april is not winning...

The discussions for the Eva eps are gonna be so peak

Orb would be amazing. We aren't gonna get it though...

I've got high hopes for the next poll. I want to see 86 win!

Maybe watch in order of winners? First evangelion then the second place, and 3rd place

Orb and Erased are my favorites on this poll. I vote Orb. disappointed to not see Steins Gate on this poll and previous long anime poll. I hope it's won't be forgotten here. 💔

I haven't watch Evangelion, but I have heard that most of the people who watched it still can't fully understand the show after the end. Hope it won't too difficult for them to understand.

next poll between orb and 86 heh

Orb second place hopefully after evangelion we get it

orb is peak im glad its rank 2

hardest choice of my life

PLEASE ERASED, ITS SHORT AND SO GOOD, ALL THE ANIMES IN THE POLL ARE AWESONE PURE GOLD

Fuck Takopi would’ve been perfect

I absolutely recommend watching the sub version of Evangelion. The voice actress for the protagonist (Shinji) has such a unique, distinctive tone—she manages to inject a subtle, trembling, almost tear-choked quality into her voice every time she speaks, which makes it impossible for me to not feel sympathy for the character. It’s a level of nuance that's not only hard for English voice actors to replicate but is incredibly rare even among other Japanese voice actors. Plus, you’ve actually heard this same voice actress in a character recently (I won't say who to avoid spoilers, but I hope you'll be able to recognize when you do!).

Since the vote is so close between Evangelion and Orb like Pluto and Bocchi was can you react to Orb right after Evangelion

Original NGE + TEOE movie, short and sweet/bitter sad 😅😅, IDK about the rebuild though

that one friend who never loses hope: lets go orb 🗣️💯🔥💪🔝‼️✊

please watch samurai champloo and my soul is yours

Why is Steins; Gate not in the poll :((?

wanted takopi so bad, but it's okay, eva is peak too

This gives me hope that at some point we will see Nana in this poll.

Eva wins which means we are one step closer to a Shin Godzilla reaction on this channel in like a decade 🤓

I wanted takopi but not gonna lie, im not even mad 😅

ALSO if Milena or Lola are seeing this, is there any chance we can get the reactions for One Piece season 1 epsiodes 6 and 7 back on YouTube? Or maybe a link on google drive like you did with Vikings reactions? I really want to rewatch them 😅

If Eva wins, I just hope they include the movie as part of the series reaction.

Eva

too many good picks

welp eva's gonna win. ive never understood the love of that show i couldn't stand it but hope yall enjoy.

Such a shame run with the wind wont make or wim any of these polls because it would instantly be one of their favorites

how is evangelion a short anime?

SUB SUB SUB SUB

Since it looks like Evangelion is going to win, I recommend the Netflix dub. I just think the performances are really great and with those performances, I think they set a better tone for the series. It does have some criticisms towards it, but overall I just think it is the best experience.

Only 209 comments??!? anyways, add "Gintama" to the list.

Evangelion will be a formative experience

Orb, anything else and your mom gay

I know Evangelion is amazing, but you guys HAVE to watch Orb. It's so good.

Votes for Evangelion...sees results..."oh no..."

I don't know what's worse. If Evangelion was here or if Berserk (1997) was here. Oh well, I will pray for the mental state of these two girls.

"3 days left" lol might as well call it for Evangelion

please watch evangelion subbed

Evangelion = sheer domination in the poll.

evangelio Is not short

But guys think of it. Lola cries for 6 straight episodes. Pick Takopi

Them doing YLIA would definitely get me to finally sit and watch it. Its on my list but I am just never prepared to start it lol

Too many good animes that aren't popular enough to get voted for in the polls. YLIA, 86 and Takopi will never be watched I fear

Dang was hopping for takopi

If they Evangelion end winning the poll at least I hope they watch the sub version. Please no another dub

OMG PLEASE I WANT TAKOPI'S ORIGINAL SIN 😭 It's only 6 episodes guys and it'll really get them talking!

please takopi or your lie in april

No Witch Hat Atelier :(

I really hope takopi lives to see another poll it’s only 6 eps 😭💔

Lowkey now I feel bad for voting for Evangelion.. I haven’t seen the other options but.. hopefully they reconsider putting this anime in the other slot instead of the short one .. if not then this anime will take 26 weeks for them to finish.. plus the movies.. yeah it would be bad for the others who want to watch you react to other animes. And this is coming from a guy who loves the shit out of Evangelion lol

Ugh

You know what… I agree with Robert. Evangelion should be in the long anime poll since it has 26 episodes. Plus, I feel at this point this slot belongs to Stein gate. I feel those fans who are waiting for you girls to react to that anime will never get that reaction lol.. i feel bad for them :(

Please watch the Japanese version.

Where is Steins;Gate !!! 😭😭😭

It's time for Evangelion FINALLY I'm so excited

All of these except Orb scare me and i haven't even seen Orb. Chat, i'm so fken scared.

if eva wins, we need Fruits Basket for a change after jjk :D

If not for anything else it's well due for them to watch another pre-2000's anime after Cowboy Bebop so I'm all for the girls to see one if not the most influential anime of all time which is Neon Geneis Evangelion

Erased or 86 would be so dope!

We should add the votes from Pluto and Takopi from the last poll to this one :D

NEON GENESIS EVANGELION

86 my beloved :(

Listen up, you dirty weebs. We're gonna watch Evangelion and that's the end of it, alright?!

quiero tapoki por retribución, pero de las opciones solo he visto Erased y Eva lol

Seems like Evangelion will win, so with that in mind, the most accessible version is on Netflix, however they made certain changes to subtitle dialogue and did not pay for the entire original soundtrack, so that is sadly missing. I have a file of the entire series in the blu-ray quality, with the original music/outros, directors cut when available, and without the Netflix translation changes. I’d be happy to share this version with the girls if they’re interested!

My favourite show out of the bunch is evon butt I know your lie in April is the one they're gonna enjoy more!

Can we delete Evangelion from the poll? It would make it more interesting. And we now have prove that it will win the next poll :D

86 is the best show by far but Eva will have the massive nostalgia vote (also still good)

Netflix version of the dub for Evangelion! Please no sub for Eva. I love sub for everything except Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion. Please please. The Netflix dub does an amazing job for this one. I know sub is usually the way to go. But this is an exception.

Serious question for someone who didn't dive too deep into Evangelion, are the movies required watching? If it does, does this still count as a short series?

Oh no Whitch Hat Atelier isn’t on here!

86 always up against other popular anime 😔

A little sad to see Steins Gate not on this poll, but tbh all the anime here are amazing! Voted For Eva, didn't expect such an old anime from 1995 to be leading, I'm so excited!! It's a classic of the era (like Cowboy Bebop) for a reason and you will be able to see the influence it had on anime. Also I think there are 2 versions and the more recent one (Netflix I believe) sadly doesn't have the OG ending song due to licensing issues

I'm worried about them watching a certain choice among these....because of *that* scene. Even though I think it's a great show. Unlike with JJK where I thought they would like it, I'm not sure they'll like this one (but I could be wrong like others with JJK). I think you can guess what show and scene I'm talking about, but don't say it lol.

Eva is too big to pass up, even if Orb would be really cool. Some day, a Ghost in the Shell adaptation will be on the list.

I'm not actually sure if they will like Eva, but ya know, it was inevitable, lol, its a ritual rite for all anime watchers at some point to watch it, lol

Watching Eva as your first mech anime is crazy. I can't wait.

Steins;Gate walked so Evangelion could run

ORB THA GREATEEEEEST LITERALLY MY AOTY LAST YEAR Takopi would feel cruel to show them

been waiting years for steins gate 💔

Eva, You should be warned, is one of the most copyright strike prone anime, but also one of the best. I trust y'all to figure out how to navigate that.

Evangelion voters! Show honor to the sacrifice Takopi fans made to give us Pluto after Bocchi. You have proof that your show will happen this year, but give us Takopi for the next six weeks. Then we’ll spend the next six months with your show!

In 30 minutes Evangelion managed to secure the victory many options to split votes so no one will beat it

Eva isn't short...it has 4 movies after

Erased is peak

Just rewatch EVA like two weeks ago. This is going to be insane!!!! Though the watching pattern is so complicated with EVA, hope they watch the new and old versions.

I love that 86 is among the options, but it's never going to happen

I have been pining for some Your Lie in April love for a hot minute. Cmon yall, let’s all have a nice cathartic communal cry together. We will all feel much better after some weeping to a beautiful soundtrack. Seriously though, it’s so good.

People voting for their favorite anime’s instead of what would be the best reactions (86) lol classic

Orb was a bit overrated imo

They might like evangelion or hate it because explicit scenes

You heard them, folks, LETS KILL EACH OTHER AAAAAAAA

Eva should be no brainer

Original Fullmetal alchemist lol

If Evangelion wins the poll, will it be the 26 episodes + The End of Evangelion movie? Or are the Rebuild of Evangelion movies included too?

86 will get cooked by Evangelion < / 3 so slept on but hope they get to 86 soon (Evangelion cool too)

I don’t watch any of these, so what should I vote for?

I saw Evangelion a long time ago, not sure how it holds up now but will be interesting. Voting for Tapoki though!

The only show I haven’t seen here is Evangelion. I genuinely wonder if it’s as great as people say it is or there’s a huge nostalgia factor playing here.

kinda sad for dororo :(

Takopiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Am I the only one who thinks it’s crazy to ask them to watch Takopi? I really don’t think it’s their kind of show at all

Girls, you will LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Eva (maybe not what actually happens, but the discussions you'll have over it). It's an incredible actual A-for-Adults anime that begs you to interpret it. One of the most influential and important animes of all time.

I vote for EVA

I wish shows were of similar length. They could finish Takopi and Erased both quicker than it would take to finish the other 4. Makes it seem the most logical sense for everyone else to vote for one of those two, no?

Oh thank God for once the best choice is wining (Evangelion), hopefully it will stay this way until the end.

not super invested in any of these, sadly. i would have loved to see the summer hikaru died on here. don't think it'd win a poll anyways, unfortunately, but I think you girls would love it

End of Evangelion without exaggeration saved my life in college

EVANGELION HOLY FUCK

get in the robot, Shinji.

Pluto fans! Takopi fans helped us to win last time (if we ignore Milena's evil vote for Bocchi The Rock). We have to help Takopi now!

Steins;Gate 💔

86 or your lie

Here we go again 🍿😅

I hope you might consider adding Witch Hat Atelier to a future poll!

This is the hardest short poll I’ve ever seen literally every show here is amazing.

Probably the best poll of short anime ever done here absolutely all the options are incredible.

86!!!!!! PLEASEEE

A lot of great shows but it has to be evangelion.

i mean, you gotta for for Evangelion. it kino beyond compare

Eva is so good and fucked up

Orb is so good

We CANNOT have them watch evangelion dawg. That with jjk back to back will break them. Let’s put them on some spyxfamily or something wholesome for once.

At his point just watch them all in the order of the results, they’re all great haha

If you react to Eva, watch out for copyright strikes on Youtube: Autosave had to pull all their reactions.

Your Lie In April one of these days. Been a while since ive seen it, such a good show.

i know it won’t happen but i’m really hoping for ylia. maybe one day lol

Really want Orb but Takopi is only 6 episodes so they’d be finished quick…an alliance perhaps?

Dororo instead of Evangelion or Your Lie in April would have been peak 🥺 Evangelion is too popular crushing the other options... If we lived in a better world, we could have had this: https://imgur.com/a/thumbnails-by-yoshi-CWFqINk

TAKOPIII PLSSS I find Evangelion to be soooo overrated omg

I think we should k*ll each other in the comments.

NOOOO THE SUMMER HIKARU DIED ISNT HERE... even though summer is starting....

PLEASE TAKOPI

Eva I've waited so long!!

How is Orb and 86 losing this hard. How?

I want to vote for all those options. It's so hard to pick one. My favorites from the list are Takopi and Orb. Takopi is short only 6 episodes

I've watched all. I like them all. But personally don't wanna see Erased or Evangelion. Other 4 would get me so excited for different reasons

Takopi ❤️

No way takopi loses at the anime awards AND here

86!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pls vote your lie in april, lola and milena deserve some romance and happiness

86 is soo for them bruh, im sad is not gonna win

Takopi's only 6 episodes just watch it no need for a poll 💔

As a Eva fan pls don’t 😭

Funny seeing Evangelion in this poll but I’ll still vote for it!

YOUR LIE IN APRIL OMG

Oh no. I wish The Summer Hikaru Died was here and not Evangelion.... oh well </3

I’m sure it’s been mentioned but you guys have to check out Witch Hat Atelier

thanks to takopi we won pluto, so 🙏

Oh my god what a stacked poll. I hope Orb wins!! 🙏♥️

WHERE'S MADOKA MAGICA ONE OF THE GREATEST SNIME OF ALL TIMEEEE!!!!! 😭😭😭😭

ORB please oh my god

Your lie in April in June!

No poder votar a Takopi y Orb duele

Evangelion it’s your time finally I believe

Evangelion would be so insane

X-men 97 on a future poll?👀

Eva holy fuck it might actually happen

Your Lie in April is everythinggggggg

I’ll never give up on skip and loafer🗣️

For the love of all that is good let Takopi win

Erasedddd

EVANGELIONNNNN

86!!!!!!!!!!

TAKOPI❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Gotta go takopi
