Has the video stopped existing for anyone else?
Any chance you can upload the Edited and the Full-length reaction? Both videos do not work
I feel like these subtitles are a little bit off? I'm assuming you're watching it on Netflix, since they play the dialogue from the English dub instead of using direct translation.
Oh, so you are already watching episode 6 too! How far ahead are you right now? Episode 6 is a funny place to stop :D
Lol
You’ve now realized that the nightmare sequence from a few episodes back was a blend of Gesicht’s and Atom’s memories, stored within Atom, send to Gesicht while he was fighting Pluto. The punching wall thing was also in the nightmare. We already met the flower painter, drawing them on a wall, so it was just mixed up in there. Atom’s statement that he is just like Pluto therefore makes sense. Whilst processing his data, Atom has already learnt that he and his wife adopted a child and lost it, which is why he was crying in the restaurant toilet. Three episodes to go. But what I can tell you is that we’re now getting a lot more answers. Regarding Dr Tenma and Tobio: This part was pretty much exactly the same in Astro Boy. Urasawa kept the circus element. However, Tenma didn’t sell him directly to a circus, but rather to a market trader, who then sold him on to a circus, where he performed tricks like an acrobat, before he ended up with Prof. Ochanomizu and Uran.
Great episode. The teddy bear is finally here too. We will find out what she is and what her goals are. The anime is more evil because the manga would have already told you what she is :D I also like that this episode doesn’t portray the dictator of Persia as a good guy. He puts robots above humans and is willing to sacrifice their lives, even though his big goal seems to have been to improve his country in the long run, like any dictator would claim. But what’s also crucial is that Thracia, the United States, didn’t overthrow the dictator to help the people or robots there, but because it was pursuing geopolitical interests. Nobody mourns dictators like Saddam Hussein, Maduro or Ali Khamenei after they were removed, killed or abducted by the US. The real problem is the state in which the country and its population are left behind afterward. I added the teddy to the new character overview: https://imgur.com/a/pluto-character-overview-KqkPaFG
"Nobody mourns dictators like Saddam Hussein, Maduro or Ali Khamenei" Saddam Hussein maybe, Maduro and Ali Khamenei are not really "dictators", authoritarian rule, yes, not dictator rule. That's why there is no regime change in Venezuela, Iran is still under a hybrid government structure of theocratic and democratic elements. an authoritarian regime does not require a single, all-powerful ruler (dictator). Power can be wielded by a group, a committee, or a massive political institution. Also, if you think nobody mourns them, you are really underestimating the complexity of humanity. Like them or not, they are also human, not a stick figure that represents evil in your propaganda puppet shows, so they are not alone.
Since I’m seeing others post their pick for the next short anime. I’m hoping for ‘Takopi’s Original Sin’ Super heavy topic but I found the ending very beautiful.
They will not be able to handle Takopi's happiness.
I'm going to start promoting the next short anime Orb: on the Movements of the Earth. would be perfect.
I second orb !! genuinely so amazing
Since the show is just over halfway through, I just wanted to suggest Witch Hat Atelier for the next short anime poll. It is currently airing. 13 episode and is an incredible show. In a season of great anime shows currently airing, to me, it is the true standout and a definite contender for Anime of the Year. Highly recommended.
Need more classics before they react to new stuff that fewer people are familiar with Still hoping for Evangelion and Madoka to win
A little late but thank you so much for finally making playlists on the YouTube channel 🙏 makes finding videos so much easier now
I always love how empathetic they are, it makes their discussions so different from others reactors :)
