Not sure if they said anything on this yet or someone else did, but I want to recommend watching the Bluray of season 2. It significantly improves the animation imo, as large parts of s2 are unfinished due to the tight time schedule.

Todos technique reveal is and the fighting system is so cool. We basically get another dimension added to it in this episode as we learned from Nanami revealing your technique makes it stronger but as we saw with Todo in this episode you can just lie or reveal it in half truths to trick your opponent or you could choose neither of those and keep it to yourself and force your opponent to guess like Todo had to do with the buds which would have went horribly wrong if he guessed the wrong thing this lets fights can turn into human chess matches after all A sorcerer is nothing but a con artist

It is sad that Todo's leaving but imagine how great it will be when you finally hear that clap again

My favourite episode in season 1.

I want to give the author props for the concept of Black Flash. I think at some point in our lives we've all felt "in the zone" when doing something. We can't do it at will but some days you're just on a roll and everything flows spontaneously. I think incorporating this concept that everyone at some point has felt in day to day life into the power system as an unpredictable element is one of the best things Gege has done to make the fights interesting and authentic. Hanami questions humans for what they've done to the planet yet he kills plants for energy in this episode. To me this outlines hypocrisy of humanity when it comes to nature. We damage the planet for our comfort the then feel bad about the destruction yet we continue to do it anyway and feel bad again. These paradoxical negative emotions are probably what made Hanami. So it makes sense he contradicts himself.

Hey girls! I just wanted to say how much I've been enjoying your reactions to one of my favorite shows. I love the theorycrafting and love you have for the characters already. Also, I'm totally planning on getting a Todo tattoo soon as he's my freaking favorite. I also wanted to state that I've seen comments around advising you to watch season 2 first 5 episodes first then the JJK 0 movie. I wanted to state that you should NOT do this and watch the movie+show as intended, in release order. Anyone stating otherwise is leading you astray and I can guarantee you it was not the way they watched it. So to clarify. Season 1, then JJK 0 the movie, then season 2. NOT season 1>JJK s2 episode 1-5>JJK 0. Watching that way is not intended and will be the inferior method by far.
