Now that we are nearing the end of season 1 and soon to be starting season 2, does anyone know if the streaming websites has updated season 2 to the Blu ray edition and if so, do they still have that awful ghosting and dimming? Watching the Blu ray itself would be vastly superior if they still do and if they still stream the TV edition then we're missing out on a lot of great animation with the extended scenes to the point I feel that would be such a waste.
Apparently, Crunchyroll replaced the episodes with the bluray version according to a google search so they should be good.

I loved your discussion about Megumi and Hanami. Yeah based on what curses are made of it's very hard to imagine them showing compassion to humans. But these new intelligent curses clearly care about each other. Mahito was asking Hanami to be more true to herself as a cursed spirit. Because fighting and attacking humans is their primal instinct like the many instincts we humans have. I love that Megumi thinks he has the least responsibility because he "chooses" to save who he wants unequally. So he thinks naturally less people depend on him and he shouldn't fail earlier than others who have a bigger burden to carry. Also he took that weapon and gave it to Maki from his shadow. He was experimenting storing weapons in his shadow back in episode 6. Watching the most glorious duo ever fight is never boring...
But do humans even have instincts? many psychologists argue that humans have reflexes (things like breathing and eating) and not typical instincts that animals have that are shared throughout entire species without the ability to make a choice
