If anyone wants to play a game that feels like this episode/ faces a lot of the same tough questions, check out the Mass Effect Trilogy.
hahah bro, whenever the video goes transparent its hard to not be distracted by lola wiggling her feet in the middle of the frame the ENTIRE time lmaooooooooo
New here ? That foot is 50% of the comments
Also just think about how violence against your child and spouse is so ingrained in Viltrumite culture and yet Nolan went 20 years married to Debbie and raising Mark and didn't raise a hand to either of them until season 1. I don't think we talk enough about how Nolan had to fight his very nature on a day to day basis in order to maintain that family home. This in no way excuses his actions and he does indeed eventually physically harms Mark which is unforgivable, but it's just an amazing little detail that speaks to what that family truly meant to Nolan.
Very true. Even at the start of his relationship with Debbie, when he was still filled with raw, Viltrumite culture. Earth was the missing piece of his soul. It's all too bad
I know they’d never do it. BUT lowkey after episode 3 they should just watch all the non Hell moments from episode 4 and then go right into episode 5 in the same reaction. I say this as a massive fan of the show and comic, but that was very dull and I’m worried it’ll ruin their enjoyment of the series.
Ruining the series seems dramatic
Probably my favorite episode of Invincible ever. When this show focuses on Nolan, Debbie, Mark and now Oliver both individually and their relationships with each other, there's nothing topping it. Nolan and Debbie have the best story arcs hands down in all of Invincible, which I can't express how much I love that in a show about Superheroes, the parents of the main character (and one being just a normal human) have the best stories. Also I think some people may be setting themselves up for disappointment when they say they want Nolan to not be forgiven very fast by his family, do I think it will take a minute before Debbie forgives him? Sure, but I don't think it will take as long as people want it to. Same with Mark because I think Mark already kind of forgave his father, also the core driving force within this family is love and it shows, no matter how dark things get between them, the love always shines through, every time.
Also yes, Nolan in season 1 said Mark’s DNA is so similar to Viltrumites he’s nearly full blooded. And the virus is a threat to him and Oliver
Hey not to take attention away from this wonderful reaction ... but will jjk still come out today ? Its my birthday so i thought i could watch it as sort of a gift from yall to me lol ( kinda sounds a lil sad in retrospect LOL )
It’ll be tomorrow, last week was a special case but expect JJK on Tue and Fridays
I swear if he comes back to earth and Debbie forgives him we better get a good reason
No one knows to be honest. The Debbie and Nolan story is so different in the tv show, I expect big changes here.
Nolan is forgiven too much , he killed so many people on earth . He needs to get some kind of punishment before been forgiven
Having to sit through Alan’s loud sex every night is punishment enough haha
Nolan and Allen are my favourite storyline at the moment
They are an awesome duo!
Best episode of the 4 we have so far. Love the expanded Nolan flashback for show. Alan is the perfect friend Nolan needs at this moment!!
The people who were able to watch the first 6 mentioned that the 5th episode will be the best, so I'm excited for next week. Episode 4 was really mid sadly, hoped for more from this tv original story.
The relationship between the mother and the father kinda hints how breeding happened on Viltrum. Can't wait when they learn about it. :D
This episode was so insane… I did the math for a ring around the planet, and I’m shocked this is even possible. If the planet has the same size as Earth, you would only need around 100 billion people to form a 15 m thick ring. It’s a huge number, of course, but not nearly as big as I expected.
I only trust your math because of your avatar
Enter Freddie Mercury.
Great episode. This show will always shine the most when the viltrumites are on the screen imo. They are the most interesting aspect of the show for me.
Holy refresh pull! Also side note, if they ever make a live-action version (although wouldn't make sense), Jon Hamm (present day or even a few years later) would make a great Nolan
