I think JJK isn't the best when it comes to writing,but it's very enjoyable and it has amazing characters. It has a lot of action scenes,which idk if you will like,but I still think you will love it :)

With regards to JJK: Y'all, sometimes in your zeal and excitement you can unintentionally spoil things. Especially by trying to explain things before their time or drum up excitement about future characters or events. I can only ask that unless LM are horribly misinformed about something that was previously revealed or completely forget down the line, don't try to explain things too much. They're smart enough to figure things out themselves. TL;DR: Try not to be annoying.

Lots of good choices on this poll. I think Code Geass would be a great pick for them, but there's no denying that JJK from MAPPA would also be very fun. Code Geass never stood a chance, but maybe somewhere down the road! JJK is a work of art in its own way, though. Full of very unique characters that they really make you care about and then it's just Chainsawman-esque nonstop craziness. There was the issue about the animators getting overworked, which I hope and it sounds like has been somewhat better, but you can really tell that MAPPA poured their heart and soul into the animation for this show. Incredibly cinematic, especially the latest season. Either way, excited for whatever comes next!

Apothecary S3 is set to come out at the end of this year, as much as I enjoy the show, for them to adapt everything requires around 6-7 seasons, we would be waiting close to a decade to get some sort of conclusion with that reaction whereas JJK only needs around 12-14 episodes to finish adapting the rest of the source material once S3 ends

With the poll closing in a matter of hours, I thought I would make one final post and try to convince people to switch their votes over to Apothecary Diaries. And this isn’t just for fans of Fruits Basket, Kaguya-sama, and Code Grass. But also, fans of JJK as well. If you have not seen The Apothecary Diaries, I highly recommend checking it out. When I watched Frieren for the first time, it quickly became my favorite anime. So, when I finished Season 1 of Frieren, I really didn’t know what to watch next. I thought whatever was next could never live up to Frieren and that is true, it is still my favorite anime. That being said, I saw someone on reddit recommend The Apothecary Diaries and I gave it a chance. It ended up being pretty much the perfect companion series to Frieren. I don’t really like going into synopsis stuff because even that I often feel like is too spoilery for a reaction channel comment section, so I will keep things very general. And I would appreciate similar in any replies to this comment. I think Apothecary Diaries has one of the best main characters in all of anime and my favorite main character in anime. Frieren might be my favorite show, but Apothecary Diaries has my favorite main character. Apothecary Diaries is a show that touches arguably many different genres and I think is extremely accessible. I’ve shown it to some people who don’t watch anime or even animated shows, and even they got hooked. Apothecary Diaries is rich with many different themes that are great for discussion, and those themes can be looked at from various points of view that I think some might find even quite surprising given the nature of the show. I also think the show has a great vibe to it and is quite beautiful. I believe the show really lives up to the hype and is a really enjoyable watch. So please consider changing your vote to The Apothecary Diaries. And even if you aren’t going to, if you haven’t watched the show, then I really think you should consider checking it out.

There are so many good shows but if I had to pick one to recommend it would be bunny girl senpai. It’s a romance with some supernatural mystery in it. The characters are hands down some of the best anywhere and their interactions and relationships are just so sincere and refreshing compared to other shows. It’s a more laid back show that has some very heartfelt and sincere moments. It’s got highs and lows and never fails to make me laugh and cry. It is the best romance anime of all time in my humble opinion and I think you guys will love it.

I also feel like people are being entirely too negative and mean about JJK. Does it have a lot of fights ? sure , but so does other anime they have watched on here that they have loved. The point is to allow the girls to see for themselves. I personally think there are aspects to JJK that is right up their alley and that they will thoroughly enjoy, but we won't know until they watch. Also I thought we learned from CSM not to assume they won't like something because of certain aspects of the anime.

Honestly, saying that JJK has a “terrible” and “flat” story is a personal opinion, but it’s still worth putting things into perspective. With the anime constantly ranking among the top series, it means that millions of people around the world are watching, following, and investing in a show that’s supposedly empty, shallow, and full of characters with no depth or importance. At some point, if that many people connect with it, it’s not just by accident. The world-building, themes, characters, their development, and their relationships clearly resonate with a lot of viewers. On a more personal note, as a huge JJK fan, seeing comments like this honestly makes me a bit sad. But at the end of the day, everyone has their own tastes and opinions, and that’s fine. Still, I feel like in this case, some people are going a bit too far with the criticism

I'm fine with JJK winning, honestly. It has peak animation, great music and some interesting stories to tell. Personally I would have prefer Code Geass just because of how it's written. That being said... it has it's weird ass moments lol

Listen, they'll enjoy anything if they enjoyed a show that has blank-faced characters and has each episode state the same theme again and again like Frier-*gets shot*

Someone brought up a good point earlier, and I know it's an issue other reaction channels that watch ongoing seasonal anime have been experiencing. The more unfinished shows LM react to, the harder it becomes to fit new stuff into the rotation when multiple returning series are airing. I guess they'll just have to pick favorites? Am I correct in thinking Fruits Basket is the only poll option that won't be getting future episodes, movies, or OVAs? Out of everything the girls have reacted to so far, which shows are likely to return with sequels or continuations in the near future? I know there's Frieren, CSM, Bocchi, Haikyuu, Vinland Saga, Avatar/Korra sequel, Ranking of Kings, Invincible, and LA One Piece, but I'm probably forgetting some. Just to be clear, I'm not saying this should impact anyone's vote. Merely an observation. When I first joined the channel a few years back, people talked about the girls only wanting to watch "finished shows," but it seems that isn't the case anymore (if it ever was).

I hope that one day they will react to Code Geass and Neon Genesis Evangelion, these are anime where interesting analyses can be done, which is one of the greatest strengths of this beautiful duo.

I'm actually kinda hoping JJK wins just because I'm excited to see what you girls think of a show that I personally dislike. I think the only other show you've ever watched on your entire channel that I didn't like was Cyberpunk Edgerunners and I don't think you loved it either. Kinda curious if you'll get anything out of JJK that I didn't, I thought it was just terrible writing the whole way through. Did enjoy the main group's dynamic though and I imagine you'll adore them at least.

I like jjk but it's just a good shonen with a standard formula that makes it work (and therefore be so popular). I'm sure that are better options, more interesting where they can make analysis with more value. JJK it's a hit of adrenaline with good animation, but lacks of 'soul'

I will say if you spend enough time in anime spaces on the internet you'd know HOW loved JJK characters are. No matter what you think about the story or if you like Gege Akutami's style of writing, you can't deny that he has a knack for presenting unique, entertaining, charismatic characters which people absolutely love to draw, cosplay, analyse etc. Knowing how much LM enjoys specifically characters and gets attached to them, I have no doubt that they will love so so so many of them. Also, Yuuji Itadori haters best believe he's going to be their favourite boy

Now that we know what’s next.. I do wonder if this going to mean Demon Slayer could be next considering we are now entering popular animes lol. It kinda feels that this is sort of opening the gates for that anime.

Well, I don't know how long the poll will last, but I think it's already decided and although I'm not a big fan I changed my vote to JJK because I think TAD would have a much big influence on the long anime slots in the next years, and I think it will be fun to see LM go through the Jujutsu Kaisen process. I have affection for many of the characters and I'm against all the hate it receives here. I agree with "Spec" comment, many people here need to relax and let the girls draw their own conclusions because sometimes you end up projecting your own opinions. Regarding the other options, I really hope they watch Fruits Basket in the future by their own decision.

I'm noticing a lot of people here positioning themselves as somehow better than others based on what series they are fans of. It's kind of funny how I have yet to see any JJK fans disrespecting the other shows on this list or their fanbases yet i'm seeing people who want the other shows voting in insulting JJK fans and the series as "slop, aura, etc etc" Not only are the other fanbases choosing to view JJK at an extremely surface level but they are also making their respective series look bad at the same time. You can prop up your series without tearing another one down. Lastly please stop assuming you know what they will and won't like, all you can do is see what they have reacted to in the past and their opinion and make a guess, at your very best you are still only making a guess, you are not a mind reader and you are not them. I personally have seem almost everything on this list and I love them all in different ways.

Apothecary Diaries, Fruits basket and Kaguya are all incredible shows with great female protagonists. So many of the shows they react to have male main leads but they always end up getting so invested in the girl side characters like Carmela in the Sopranos and Joan and Betty in Mad Men right now. I feel like they spend so much time in discussions wishing for more from the girls so I was really hoping they could get an amazing show that would give them just that. I know that they'll still enjoy jjk but I hope one day one of these shows or something like them will get a chance in a poll without a mega popular battle shounen

It's hard to find an anime that can replace Freiren. It may not be as good as Freiren, but girls might like "Natsume's Book of Friends." However, it's a long anime and hasn't been completed yet.

I've seen 4 out of the 5 anime on this poll (haven't seen FB), and though JJK is my personal favourite, I think Apothecary Diaries is probably what LM will like most, so it gets my vote. Apothecary Diaries is a series that explores the lives of women of all backgrounds in a feudal society. There are so many fantastic female characters in it. It also has a good plot among other things. It's a show made for you. The discussions would be so great, I think you'd love it as much as Frieren. I am still hoping that it wins the poll.

Well.. I know it was going to win.. JJk.. and I will be honest I was hoping at least Nana to be on the poll but oh well maybe in a few years lol. Okay, I switched my vote to JJK. Voting for The Apothecary Diaries would mess up the scheduling for the short anime slot too much for the next 16 months, so let’s just get through JJK. Season 1 and Season 2 Part 1 will be nice. Season 2 Part 2 will be a disappointment, and after Season 3 Part 1, they will have lost interest in the show for prioritizing action and aura over character development and storytelling.

Fruits Basket has barley any reactions out there and it just breaks my heart. The show is just so good. There is lot of self-love, healing, forgiveness. So many beautiful relationships, wholesome kids supporting each other. It's like watching Haikyuu all over again. Started watching S1 of Fruit’s basket recently and i think i said to myself “wow Lola and Milena would love this show” at least 10 times throughout 💀

Many are saying they won't like JJK, but they liked HxH, right? HxH is as battle heavy as JJK was. They share a lot of similarities, actually.

Kaguya fans im curious, do you all still feel right recommending the anime to people knowing the entire 2nd half of the story will never receive a proper adaptation? Kaguya is in my top 10 all time, i adore the story, so much i read the manga after i caught up. Some of the best arcs in the story were coming up and I was devastated when they just decided to skip it all 😭💔 I honestly feel conflicted now recommending it to ppl because I dont want them to go through that pain…i will at least say now that reading the manga after a certain point is essential to the story and that really sucks for reaction channels because thats not possible 🫠

JJK is probably going to win because it's just so popular, but while y'all would adore the main character I don't think you'd really love the show as a whole. It's very fight-focused and ad hoc, with the narrator literally coming in mid-scene to explain something that's crucially important that was never talked about before in the show.

Now, I've been criticized for asking this before because, and I quote, "stfu it doesn't matter why someone votes," but at the risk of hearing that again, I'm still gonna ask. Please try to be respectful. 🙏 For me, if the reactor were to offer, say, Dragonball - a show near and dear to my childhood, despite its numerous flaws - I couldn't possibly vote for it (at least, not on this reaction channel). The girls would enjoy themselves to an extent, at least when it came to the cast, non-fanservice humor, and whimsical setting, but the show's overeliance on battles with little narrative purpose (against enemies we never see again) would, in my opinion, not vibe with them. So, to recap... Would they, in my opinion, enjoy Dragonball? Yes. Would they enjoy other shows more? Depending on what the other shows are, also yes. The reason I will never be able to accept JJK win is it's potential impact on this channel in the future…Modern mainstream shonen series will eternaly block the slots, by the fandom. Started watching jujitsu kaisen like 2 months ago. I liked it alot. But ended up being preoccupied with other things so i never actually finished the whole show. If snything, this poll gives me a good reason to get back to it, lol.

Since Apothecary Diaries will still be getting a lot of content with Season 3 Part 1, Part 2 and Season 4-8, and Jujutsu Kaisen with Season 3 Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4, please don't watch these in the short anime slot when they are released. Instead, wait a bit so you can watch two episodes a week. We have such a long list of short anime that will hardly stand a chance if unfinished anime win the long anime polls and block the short anime slot with new Season releases. As a JJK lover, who finished the manga and really love the anime. I don’t think JJK is the one for them. It’s great, but it will be like cyberpunk:edge runner for them. Insane animation but not the anime that is best for them to react to. Plus the mappa situation behind JJK is just diabolical.

Itadori the main character of jujutsu kaisen doesn’t feel like the main character despite the show having 3 seasons. That should tell you everything about how the show treats most of its characters. Thats all I’m going to say.

Jjk is fine im sure they won’t hate it, but the show is just empty calories. A terrible mc with no good supporting characters either, it’s very bland in that aspect. And it doesn’t really have a story,but the animation and music are good.

The final boss of anime is Gintama. It will make you laugh, cry, scream, and cheer. Its the final boss because it was created for the magazine Shonen JUMP! to poke fun at other anime. A lot of its references come from other anime, but it still holds its own without the references. You guys have watched enough now to get all the jokes. It is the most finely crafted absurdity from a team that LIVES anime. 10/10 imho

A lot of people judge Jujutsu Kaisen the wrong way. JJK was never meant to be a classic shonen where everything is explained, where the main character is always protected, or where fights are only about showing who’s stronger. It’s an anime built on tension, atmosphere, and consequences. The characters exist in a dangerous and unpredictable world, and that’s completely intentional. The story doesn’t hold the viewer’s hand, the power system is complex by choice, and many elements are meant to be felt before being fully understood. If Jujutsu Kaisen is watched and talked about this much, it’s clearly not for no reason. An anime that creates this level of engagement, debate, and reaction is one that leaves a real impact. And when, in the comment section, some people spend their time calling the fans “crazy” or mocking the series, it honestly just looks like you’re shooting yourselves in the foot. That kind of attitude doesn’t discredit the anime or its success—it only shows a baseless rejection of a work that simply doesn’t match your expectations. The behavior of some fans doesn’t define the quality of a work. JJK should be watched with patience and maturity, not with the expectations of a classic heroic shonen. Not liking it is fine. Saying it’s bad just because it doesn’t fit traditional genre codes isn’t.

Fruits Basket would be such a perfect pick for reactions. It starts off light and wholesome, but then slowly hits you with deep emotional arcs, trauma, and character growth. It’s one of those shows where reactions get better and better as the story goes on, especially in later seasons. You would adopt Tohru in A HEARTBEAT, Plus, it’s a shoujo (anime/manga aimed at a female demographic), and that demographic is really underrepresented in reaction channels; having a long, story driven shoujo with this level of emotional depth would be such a refreshing change. It's very likely that LM will break out of its bubble again, reaching the level of AOT or even higher, considering the current hype surrounding Jujutsu. 2. I love all the shows here but it has to be Fruits Basket. It's their type of show and I'm certain they'll love it and make it one of their favorites. If not FB, it should definitely be Apothecary Diaries.

With the current quality of animation in JJK S3, I am unable to NOT recommend the anime. It's simply beautiful. Even as someone who is not fond of the shonen genre, JJK has been a magnificent experience.

For a future anime poll, I would recommend Fate/Zero (and the Fate series in general). There's a lot to analyze in terms of morality and philosophy with that anime.
