I'm a lady is a cute little bop. My song recommendation as the self declared Hip- Hop guy is Leslie by Santan Dave

The short answer is no, it’s not legal for 15 year olds to serve alcohol. Seika, Nijika’s sister, is 30 (25), and she owns the venue

Every 3 episodes there is a new ending, sung by a different character in the show. See if you can identify which character sings which ending! When you're finished with the show I recommend checking out Kessoku Band's album with all the songs from the show. My recommendation for this week comes from the manga artist's favorite band: Asian Kung Fu Generation - After Dark. Also, the band's four members are who Bocchi and the other members of Kessoku Band are named after. Very excited for next week!

Crazy how far some shows make it. As a mexican guy i was never into Rebelde when I was young but I did have a crush on Dulce Maria

Almost forgot this week's song recommendation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uoox9fpmDP0&list=RDUoox9fpmDP0&start_radio=1 “Duvet” is a 1998 song by the British-Japanese alternative rock band Bôa, sung by lead vocalist Jasmine Rodgers. It gained international recognition as the opening theme for the cult anime Serial Experiments Lain (which is also worthy of being added into your watchlist) where its introspective tone perfectly complemented the show’s themes of identity, technology, and isolation. I watched Lain 6 years ago, yet the melody of “Duvet” still lingers in my mind from time to time, and when it does, a strange sense of sadness always washes over me.

The more I watch your Bocchi reaction, the more "girls band" animes I want you to watch (I don't want to be an annoying person here but once again I really hope you can watch MyGO in the future, which is a masterpiece of this genre. God knows how many people I need to watch MyGO and vote for it with me... The themes the show tries to convey, how complex and satisfying all the characters' developments are...I promise you will have so much to discuss about!). Back to Bocchi, your reaction has again made me appreciate slice-of-life shows so much more. I just really enjoy how you pick up every little detail the author uses to depict the characters' personalities, and how much you can relate to Bocchi (as an asian I always thought very few white people have social anxiety issues, especially you girls who seem so positive and lively most of the time, so now I guess that's very "racist" of me). By the way, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but Bocchi the Rock and Frieren have the same director (Keiichiro Saito), who I think deserves the most credit for the rich visual expressiveness of both shows. If you read the original manga of Bocchi the Rock, you will find out that it's a four-panel manga, which is a style that uses four panels arranged vertically (you have seen it in Look Back. It's the kind of manga that Fujino draws for her school newspaper). Each strip typically follows a simple structure: setup, development, twist, and punchline, making it especially popular for comedy and slice-of-life stories. So you can imagine how much efforts the director put into it to make Bocchi the Rock feel so lively and smooth in this 24-min-episode format.

I find it funny how people in other countries talk about their first experience with alcohol. I drank for the first time when I was 14, and from 16 to 19 I went through a wild party phase. In Germany, you can buy beer when you're 16. Since I turned 21, I haven't touched alcohol. At some point, I realised that I drink so little alcohol that I might as well just stop :D

Lmfao yes nobody ever chose Lupita. It was always Roberta and Mia. Roberta and Diego were the best couple in my opinion

It's not even out on Spotify yet, but The Hand by Annabelle Dinda has been trapped in my head for days. It's just pure, classic songwriting https://youtu.be/6YR5n0SEQ1s?list=RD6YR5n0SEQ1s

Just a bit of information here. Seika Ijichi ( The older sister ) is 29 years old, she just looks younger because of the shows art style, also the word tsundere is a word used to describe a character who looks cold on The outside but is warm on the inside. It was a word used by Nijika the younger sister this episode when talking about her older sister. Tsundere is a word used in many anime’s to describe certain characters.

Telenovelas have always been pretty popular in Germany. A bunch of them were even adapted by the German TV industry, so there are tons of similar shows around. Personally, I have never watched a single one. I couldn’t even name any. It always seemed more like something the girls in my class were into. So yeah, I’m probably not the right person to ask about that 😅 But I can tell you what the best map in COD MW2 (2009) was though! 😎

Similarly still chasing summer, or at least trying to enjoy the more colourful aspects of autumn so "Sense" by Last Dinosaurs (along with a lot of their popular stuff honestly) has been getting a lot of play for me lately 👍

The results from the Long Anime Poll are in and they’re actually quite interesting! We’ve got a mix of current shows that are ending soon, others that will wrap up within the next 4 to 10 years, recently finished series, and a surprising number of older shows that ended over 13 years ago, many of them from 1990–2012. https://imgur.com/a/NadaW9q To make it easier to share the results (and to save myself the trouble of reposting a long wall of text), I’ve put everything into an Imgur link. Inside, you’ll find: 1. The full results with the Strawpoll link. 2. A short, spoiler-free description for each show in the top 33, mostly covering genre and how close each one is to its finale, last episode, or last season. That should cover everything for the next poll. If you spot any errors or think some adjustments are needed, please let me know! I haven’t even seen a quarter of the shows on this list myself, so much of it comes from quick research.

I want them to watch spyxfamily so bad 😭 it literally has everything in it that they want from wholesome shows. I mean hello the found family and cute child!! It was robbed by cyberpunk edgerunners last time 😭
