Chainsaw man movie when 😭
19:19 oh my god she called it
Please react to the movie when you can! It's a direct continuation and contains the whole next arc of the manga.
Honestly The only reason i didn’t want yall to watch this show yet was because there isnt enough of it adapted. There was no doubt in my mind that you guys would LOVE the characters along with the slower emotional moments. I can’t wait for part 2 to be adapted, yall will probably love it even more!
Loved commentary for the entire season! I really hope you guys react to " orb: on the movements of the earth " at some point. Came out earlier this year, has 25 episodes and its so underrated !! I think you guys would love it :3
Queens and kings, LISTEN TO ME, BELIEVE IN MY NEXT WORDS: vote for Bocchi The Rock
You mean A Place Further Than The Universe :D
Loved the commentary on Denji Pochita and the door. The emotional awareness you two have is amazing to see! So glad you two enjoy the story, it won’t disappoint!
EVE the goat
Im probably in the minority here but I hope you do Dandadan and Jujutsu Kaisen sometime soon. Your reaction to Chainsaw Man has given be a lot of optimism on how much you will enjoy these shows!
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Part 1 is supposed to be released in January. Then sometime later we’ll get Season 3 Part 2, then Season 3 Final Chapters Part 1, then Season 3 Final Chapters Final Final... I would definitely wait for Jujutsu Kaisen until Final Chapters Part 1 is out, or whatever Mappa decides to call that part. Dandadan still has at least four more seasons ahead of it. Even if they start watching the anime after Season 3 or 4, there will still be plenty left. I would honestly rather give some other anime a chance that are shorter and already finished.
Movie is direct continuation of story, the small teaser at end of ep 12 teases it. Reze will leave big mark on Denji
Maybe the last sentence teases a little bit too much
begging on my hands and knees for you guys to watch takopi’s original sin. just finished it yesterday, its sad but absolutely perfect for y’all
only 6 episodes and perfect for such empathetic people like these girls. everyone needs to experience takopi
I also got emotional when i watched the outro of this episode for the first time. It made me really happy that the anime exists and convinced me that the people making this season really understood what it was most important about the story. The relationship between these 3 dorks really is something special.
When Milena and Lola talked about the hayakawa family being all childs that never actually grew up, I instantly thought about the image your pfp is taken from (beautiful pfp btw) the way they are on spot id so impressive
since yall enjoy watching movies... will you be watching Look Back?👀
I'm sure youve seen many comments already saying that the movie is plot relevant. If someone watches season 2 without having watched the movie, they will have lost a big chunk of plot😩
To be fair, they just missed one plot point that sets up the next arc, and a few character moments. :D
The movie is different from most anime movies in that it directly relates to the plot.

True. I think they'll click with her
Did yall forget how Aki and Denji met? Denji kicked the fuck out of Aki’s nuts, and in the end, they join together to punish katana’s nuts.
I hope you give DanDaDan a chance next, i think you would love it!
Y’all gotta do Look Back now 🔥
I love this story so much and so much love and care was put into adapting this first season. That last scene of Aki smoking his cigarette in silence was totally anime original and simply perfect in my opinion. Like Lola points out, "easy" poingantly disappears just leaving us with "revenge". Even if the new director ends up disappointing me at least we'll always have this season. Part of me wishes we could stay in this moment, this happy night with the Hayakawa family eating dinner together forever.
Have faith in Yoshihara !
Haven’t watched the vid yet but I’d like to say I liked the show a lot more after rewatching with you guys. Restoring faith in humanity fr. I’m hoping we can do takopis original sin (6 ep) and Pluto (8 ep) before frieren!! Not sure if they mentioned anything about what’s replacing this but those are more votes ☺️
The best ending: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jM0fUAR2xg I enjoy it so much too. It's so much fun to watch.
I'm sorry Robert but episode 4 is the best. Nothing beats power.
the movie will definitely have plot! do come in with a biiiit of expectations
last episode :(
Week 3 of mentioning the Ish "1000 Player Rich vs Poor Civilization Experiment" video until it gets on the girls' radar >:D iykyk, it's one of the most impressive videos ever uploaded to youtube, a feature length movie with some of the most incredible storytelling you can find on the internet
First if you want to watch the extra scenes of the 2 recap movies of s1, both of the scenes are at the last 5 minutes of each movie. Also the girl at the end of this episode thats talks to denji isn't kobeni, she had violet hair and a different voice. And finally just wanted to say this was a great reaction, It's insane how rare it is to have people that really analyse this show and try to understand it, instead of just reducing chainsaw man to a fanservice and hype moments anime when there actually is a lot of things to talk about, you're gonna love the movie and S2. I was delighted each week hearing all the different conversations.
Their discussions about Season 1 were so good. I think the discussions in Season 2 will be peak. There are so many emotional and human elements to dive into.
I’m so glad this show was loved by them so much
I highly recommend Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen to watch after this anime, they have very nice characters and amazing stories.
I've never watched Jujtsu Kaisen; I've seen Demon Slayer and although I enjoy it the story is really mid. What is great about Demon Slayer is the animation.
Hopefully we get Pluto next or if you girls don’t want to react to something new since you guys are waiting for that other anime to start season 2 soon( sorry I can’t remember the name of it lol) then my only suggestion would be to add more Monster episodes in this slot until then :P
Just watch Frieren. You like Monster, you will like Frieren. And I still hope for A Place Further Than The Universe, so I want a poll :D
Fun fact The nut kicking competition is homage to the Phantom Troupe. "Uvo... can you hear this? We dedicate this requiem to you."
I was sad they missed that, I sat up in my chair with a grin the first time I watched this when he said that.
Hey this is the short "Getting To Know Power" https://youtu.be/EjnMY79CYAA?si=lBTt6rFgmv_quEuJ
So about the "why do a movie" question, it's just cause the next arc in the story is quite short (just 14 manga chapters). This first season covered chapters 1-38. So this way hopefully season 2 can fit chapters 53-97 and finish what's considered "Part 1" of the whole manga. Edit: Oh, and about the "extra scenes" in the compilations; they're short gags that appeared as extra pages in the manga volumes. They put them at the end of each of the compilation episodes.
I'm so hyped for Season 2 in 2027! Mappa, please don’t mess it up. I heard they added Tom & Jerry-style sound effects in the movie, trying to make scenes forcibly more funny, which scares the shit out of me. I liked the smart writing and scene direction in Season 1 to create funny scenes.
Please tell me they didn’t actually do that in the movie 😭
Look Back movie is worth watching but I also recommend Pluto from the creator of Monster for a shorter show option, great series.
Your discussion about the door and repressed memories makes me so happy that you guys are reacting to this show
Is Bocchi next? Just make the executive decision, Milena you know you want to 👀
Stand by this
The movie is fully the next part of the story! It's just an arc that's not long enough for a season of tv.
Hoping you react to Look Back soon!
Sad fact: The entire sequence after Makima was not included in the manga and was created by director Nakayama. Under the new director, we will likely not see anything like this again. Long calm scenes to let characters and moments shine is bad now :(
This was definitly the best scene created by nakayama (with the aki morning routine). I also think that he added some unnecessary scenes, like kobeni killing the grandma or don't like how he also decided to cut or do minor changes to some scenes, ike in this episode the woman that denji saves in the train in the manga denji holds her to protect her (I like small details like this that show denji care for civilians its unfortunate it was change even if it doesn't change a lot). The best exemple for a scene that got cut, is the whole segment in chapter 2 where denji goes to kill the strengh devil that takes has a child as a hostage and denji sees himself in both of them. I understand that it was cut because chapter 1 was adapted in a way that we see more of denji & pochita's relationship, so I understand that the chapter 2 scene was cut because it wasn't that important, except to add more into how denji felt about pochita and since ep 1 already completed that role then it makes sense to cut it All of this to say that I think Nakayama's had good ideas but it wasn't perfect even if he was a really good director for chainsaw man, I also want to add that Reze movie is also going to have sequences created by Yoshihara, Fujimoto said he's looking forward to see how the movie will fill in the missing details that he didn't think about, let's give Yoshihara a chance to prove himself !
Here to recommend the 12 episode anime called “Erased”. I strongly recommend you girls to read the description on tv time. I think it’s a show that will interest you a lot. It’s a really good show and it’s also finished so there’s no need to wait for anything.
Please watch ‘Look Back’ movie from the same creator of Chainsaw Man. It’s soo good
Look Back would be so good!
The extra scenes are at the end of each compilation.
Himeno, can you hear this up in heaven? We are playing a requiem for you. The kennel loses many precious components. The remaining dogs gather to mourn. The mourners play a melody, While the leash quietly tightens. The cigarette withers and falls To lie on the ground beside bloody chained hearts But the hunters will remain supreme Even after losing half your pack. Enjoy the interlude. Search out new allies. At the Crossroads with nowhere to go. You will find one who awaits you.
