39:09 some information Aki has made a deal with the Fox devil and the katana thingy devil whatever it is. So yes you can make more deals with the devils.
Curse devil*
been waiting all week for this
The Summer Hikaru Died would be a fun show to watch after this. Only 12 episodes and perfect for the spooky time of year
is it only 12 ep or it's going to have more?
I hope you guys will consider watching Pluto at some point since it's pretty short. :)
I second this! It's written by the same author as Monster I just know they'd love it
Another one I've really been looking forward to.
How are you two liking Chainsaw Man so far?
This is where Chainsaw Man becomes Painsaw Man.
lol cmon Lola I don't think the guy that took the bullet for Kobeni had the thought process of oh I'm already shot I'll just take this bullet to. I think that was just his instinctual reaction because he was a good guy. In a split second between shots someones gonna react on instinct.
I don't agree between the first shot and the 2nd one you can see Arai realise he just got shot and then go take the 2nd bullet for kobeni I think both interpretations are good
Yes, please please please consider reacting to the movie "Look Back" based on the manga. Fujimoto said those are the type of stories he prefers. Absolutely amazing what the movie accomplishes in terms of emotional resonance. And if they ever make "Goodbye, Eri" my life will be complete, the one-shot manga absolutely blew me away in its composition, its irreverence, its surreal heartbreak.
I hope you guys react to the chainsaw man days extras. These are just little comedic snip bits of the characters life, but it's really cute and just nice to have while waiting for the movie. These are in end credits of the chainsaw man compilation films in Crunchy Roll. Also as another person suggested would love to see you guys react to Look Back.
Can’t believe I have to wait until Monday
me too😂
this weekly waits have been killing me
A poet once said, “I love bad bitches that’s my fuckin problem.”
My favourite episode easily. My girl Kobeni fucking shit up.
Also the fact this ep with Arai being shot in the neck comes just after the recent events is lowkey funny as hell. Now the big difference is Arai did something good before dying, he was a good person with heroic instinct, not hesitating to rush into a bullet to save his friend, what a hero. The complete opposite of that other piece of crap
I’m sorry you feel that way.
I love how the little we knew about the characters really told us everything we need to know. Like the glasses guy (madoka) that directly quits, one of the only things we knew was that he had a really high IQ and it shows lol. As for Kobeni and Arai, the stressed girl and her friend when aki ask her opinion Himeno says that : -Arai is not really competent but he is goodhearted and motivated -Even if Kobeni is timid and reservated, she is talented and can be decisive
"Is there a Bomb Devil?" we'll see lmao
The devil contract power system kinda reminds me to the stands from Jojo sometimes or Nen where the character either has to meet certain conditions or sacrifice X for X power lol. I love complex mechanics in power systems in anime. When it comes to this anime.. well I won’t say much and since season 2 is not even out yet, all I gotta say is that you will learn more as you go.
I kinda see what you mean I think more of hxh with nen contracts to make you stronger but nen and stand are definitly my favortie power systems in anime
Here's my reaction! https://youtu.be/W18GBrb8Q7o
Maybe there's something I'm unaware of, but unless you know LM and have permission to do this, linking your own reaction on someone else's seems to be in incredibly poor taste.
What do you think Kobeni and Makima's Devil Deal is? :D
Apparently it's a contract with the Hydraulic Press Devil
And this is my other favorite ed music, tied with the previous one. Probably one of my favorite endings as a whole from this season. It's just so different from the others, but in a really good way. A lot calmer than the others, but also tragic and beautiful sounding at the same time. Also really like the singer's voice.
"The lunch meeting is cancelled"
You're on the money that what you sacrifice for a devil's power should be proportionate to the power. The devil decides the terms and the person contracting them can accept or not, so when it seems like someone is getting a lot of power for very little sacrifice, you can be suspicious about why that is. I hope that's vague enough, otherwise I'll delete.
It's vague enough :D
Hope you guys react to "Look Back" as well. It's a short animated film that adapts a one-shot by the same author.
I think they'd love it, however it is technically a movie and those don't have a great chance of being watched here lol.
I don’t say this is a spoilery context so no worries just what we can infer so far. So I mean I am being pedantic but the use of the term “devils” seems like important world building and establishes a power system rather than “demons”
I don't think it's important, demon and devil mean basically the same unless we are talking about a specific religion, culture or fictional world. In the Spanish translation they even call them most of the time demonios/demons instead of diablos/devils
"I understand, I just don't speak English" Milena's delivery is so good lol
