Monster Episode 19 Reaction

My apologies for being off topic. I’m recently a new subscriber to your Patreon channel. I discovered you guys on YouTube reacting to Better Call Saul. Absolutely my favorite show of all time. Now I’m enjoying your full reactions. Just finished season 5. I noticed there are 5 full reaction videos missing from season 6. The missing episodes are 604, 606, 609, 611 and 613. Any chance you guys can re upload those episodes? Wanted to say how much I enjoy your insights and analysis of BCS. Thank you for your time.

I like to think that Tenma didn`t actually cheated.

Just remember the phrase “Look at me! Look at me! The monster inside of me has grown this big!” it’s going to play an important role later on. One of the things I love most about Monster is how its central mystery is Johan himself, with every single character in the story tying into that mystery in such a perfectly woven way. So many people consider Johan to be the greatest villain in all of anime and manga and honestly, possibly one of the greatest antagonists of all time. He is the most terrifyingly well-written character I’ve ever seen, and the way Naoki Urasawa brings him to life is just genius. For me, Monster’s greatest strength is its characters. Not only does it have the best villain I’ve ever seen on screen, but it also has some of the best-written side characters and one of the strongest overall casts I’ve come across. And while Johan gets a lot of the praise, we have to talk about my boy Tenma. one of the most underrated protagonists ever. The dynamic between him and Johan is just UGHHHH, so tense and brilliantly crafted. I seriously love this show.

The next Monster endings are 25 and 33. Also remember: Watch 23-24 together. :D

Can’t wait for next week’s episode. I still remember it after years.

ah yes, the 2 sexualities: gay or assassin 😆❤️

Big, big episode. Dr. Gillien first appearance comes across insecure, pompous, and a bit slimy. But after the horror he becomes aware of at Mrs. Kemp 's house he can't help but become a very important ally for tenma. I remember the first time I watched that scene in the house, I was so frightened for Gillien. The implications of Johan's powers really start to seep into the mind with this one, and the larger picture starts to come to the surface.

A little trivia: Peter Jürgens is based on real-life serial killer, Edmund Kemper. Both are very similar in appearance like their large size (2.06m). Both initially targeted young girls but later killed elderly. Both threatened their interviewers. And the surname of his twelfth and most important victim, Kemp, is similar to Kemper. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmund_Kemper
