I can’t speak to how Germany was, but in the US up to the 80s and early 90s (this is before my time), they literally had to run commercials saying “it’s 10 pm, do you know where your kids are?” It was very common to have your kids out of the house and parents having no idea where they where and just expecting them to be back home by dinner. So for the time period, this Deiter hitching a ride on his own and being out on his own could be normal.
Was my childhood in the 2000s too. Traveled alone or just with friends 30km with a bike, went into the deep forest and more stuff. Kinda insane to be honest. 😅
"Reunion" was the title of FMAB episode 26, when Ed reunited with the body of Al in the World of Truth. That was 3 years ago, Milena time traveled from the past 🤣
The amount of stress you girls are getting from Tieter getting into dangerous situations continues lol.. ahh well.. at this point y’all should get used to it by now. Johan is still an enigma but one can put some pieces together and assume a couple things about the guy… ahh so much to uncover but I’m glad you girls are enjoying this show so far. The funny thing is I feel the upcoming arcs are still miles better of what you girls saw so far. Can’t wait for you girls to reach those arcs :)

In this episode, there is a funny mistake by Urasawa. Yamada Torajirō saved the Turk in the Pacific, not Nogi Maresuke.
