It’s strange how Dina seems more motivated to avenge Joel than Ellie based on that conversation they had.
Probably because Ellie has context while Dina does not.
There were definitely some parts of this season that were so dark that I could hardly see anything, I find that annoying. Compare that to Mad Men or Severence...
so many modern shows are shot/color graded/edited on high end studio hardware designed to make movies / "cinematic" TV and then watched on people's shitty devices with random brightness settings in bright rooms with sunlight and other distractions. streaming apps then crunch the shit out of the blacks via compression to reduce cost of delivering the data so they can save money. its like video editors forget most people are watching on living room TVs or on their phones/tablets/laptops. modern HBO has a bad habit of this but I've not seen it in an Apple TV or AMC show like you mention.

I said this in another post, Food Wars would be a perfect light hearted show but that probably has too many episodes. Might as well just go all in and do Your Lie in April…who needs all that salt water hanging out in your body lol. Have yall seen Life of Chuck by Mike Flanagan who did Hill House? Not to react to but just to watch. That movie is a warm hug, brought to you by someone you might not expect to provide warm hugs, Stephen King. Y’all would more than likely dig it. That goes for anyone who reads this, good flick.
I’m just thinking Ellie being around all those spores in the air makes her a walking biohazard for anyone near her. Yeah, she can’t get infected, but those spores are like pollen. It’s in her hair, it’s in her clothes, it’s in her pores. Unless she takes the cleanest high pressure scalding hot shower ever she’s going to infect anyone that breathes air near her
A fair point, but if that’s a flaw here then it’s a flaw in both games multiple times. Spores in TLOU are a game mechanic at the end of the day, for variety of environment and decreased visibility during certain combat sections.
