Haikyuu!! 4x22 Reaction

a sport anime that hasn’t really been recommended much is Kuroko no basket, it’s a basketball anime, i know most patreons love the more melancholic or slice of life anime, but this anime hits all of the emotions, it’s exciting and funny and sad and is very character driven, it’s also just insane and silly with how over the top it is at times but i LOVE it. it’s my fav sports anime and i hope you’ll watch it🥺

Also this is such a win for Washijo sensei, one of the greatest antagonists in all of fiction... It seemed cruel at the time but without him putting his foot down and giving Hinata some coaching that he desperately needed but everyone was ignoring it and treating him with kiddy gloves... Peak!!!!!

You know what makes Pitons so perfect for me is that Haikyuu is so good at focusing on the secondary characters and antagonists and all of them were balling out then HINATA reminded everyone why he is the MAIN CHARACTER. This is why this is who we are following, Hinata Shoyo the complete volleyball player is born!

This is the episode with the scene I thought of immediately when I saw Haikyuu was getting covered. That was Shoyo’s Gear 4 right there when he handled the receive lol.

I've watched this episode so many times but I still cry at hinata's receive and everyone's reaction THATS MY GOAT

Sobbing. This is my favourite episode of a show that is easily in my top 5 of all shows. Hinata screaming Kageyama's name when he bumps the ball just wrecks me no matter how many times I watch it. Hinata is truly sunshine And ALL this in an episode where Inarizaki has arguably the most insane plays of the entire series. The Miya twins, and Atsumu especially, is so bloody loveable despite him being abrasive at times. The similar moments of joy on his face when he's watching/experiencing/playing top tier volleyball is truly inspirational. Getting ready to go through the mourning process all over again for this show </3 Thank GOD there's still more movies to come

Just a quick heads up, both the movie and the final episode of this season have after credit scenes.

It's amazing how good this show is at making you forget Hinata is the main character.

Haikyuu didn’t just get Japanese readers/viewers to start playing. I started playing because of it and I’ve never loved a sport more. Also, like half the people I meet who play volleyball started because of haikyuu, or because of a friend who started because of haikyuu

Osamu's food analogy is bitter sweet because i think Hinata made him truly realize that he doesn't have that volleyball "hunger". Which is why he told Atsumu last episode "you love volleyball a smidge more than i do".

this is absolutely up there in haikyuu episodes for me. you said it best: this one and tsuki screaming are burned into my mind and i also cry uncontrollably every time. even though this is my 6th rewatch of this show. (it doesn't come up enough that kageyama is the literal baby of the team)

absolutely no words can describe the feeling of watching this episode for the first time. and the next ones left until the end of this season won't disappoint as well.
