Lola looking out of this world, I'm spiraling from it
11:06 Hey, don't laugh! When you're married, you'll understand the importance of fresh produce!
The COFFEE with the fuckin CHICORY
Another interesting idea with Vito is how often did he oppress other homosexuals to fit in. that had to be psychological torture.
Thank you Goddesses for all these reactions!!
Vito always coming from behind with his loaded gun. Very allegorical.
A couple of funny "gay" references in this one. First the obvious one, the hilarious match cut from Vito and Johnny Cakes in bed cutting to the toy train going into the tunnel. Then later a very subtle one when Vito is driving back listening to My Way by Sinatra: On the surface of course it's about a man facing his death with defiance and proclaiming how he lived his life on his own terms, which somewhat fits/foreshadows Vito's situation, and his lies/truthfulness with Johnny Cakes. The full final verse goes— For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught To say the things he truly feels And not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows And did it my way —but the way the scene is edited, we only hear a fragment: "...one who kneels, the record shows I took the blows...", obviously referencing Vito both catching and pitching for the pink team.
TALK TO YOUR MOTHER ABOUT THIS SHIT!
Janice is such a .....oooooooh. I think this is the third time that she's been reduced to tears over Tony doing something nice for her (well, "nice"). And every time, she forgets it by the next episode. And by the next season she's moaning about how Tony has never done anything for her. First when he cleaned up after she killed Richie, and secondly when he beat up the Russian man who beat her up to get Svetlana's leg back. A "spec house" is a house built without a final buyer already lined up, the builder is planning to get it completely finished and THEN try to sell it. This is opposed to the future-owners being involved from the beginning and making decisions along the way. There's pros and cons to both methods, with greater financial risk with a spec house but also more construction freedom. An "allocution" in this circumstance is the defendant (Johnny Sack) speaking to the court before sentencing. In some circumstances it is an opportunity for the defendant to plead for leniency, but here we see the prosecutor demand a public admission of his membership in The Mafia. This way it's not just "Johnny Sack plead guilty to attempted murder", it's "Johnny Sack plead guilty to attempted murder AS PART OF THE MAFIA". It forces him to say the words and get it on the public record. I always loved Johnny Sack's brother-in-law and the way he's so out of his element. He can barely even make himself understood. He's such a Fish Out of Water.
I think about that Vito scene working outside and not looking at his watch at least once a month. Just one of those things lol
There are times in the video where Milena’s hair and shirt blend together and it looks like she’s converted to Islam.
inshallah she has the makings of a varsity athlete
I love Janice she is genuinely unreal lmao
can i recommed the series YOU on netflix for you guys to watch next ? or atleast add it to the next poll so people can vote please?
It's awful lol
I'm sorry but.. Lola's hair...unreal
Random comment but I'm so glad Andor is on the girls' radar. I'm quite blown away by this show. I've watched up to s02e06 now having rewatched season one last week. The world building, the character work, the dialog, the Hitchcockian tension, the cat-and-mouse between both sides, the outstanding nuanced acting - it's all at a level I never thought I'd see in a Star Wars show. It has more in common with The Expanse than any other Disney show.
genuinely shocked that such a brilliantly written and thematically poignant piece of media could come out of disney star wars. it cant come soon enough
I'm sure people have mentioned it but season 6 is technically split into two. The first 12 episodes of season 6 are 6A and the final 9 episodes are 6B. It's not that important but it almost is like a new season begins during 6B.
I'm sure someone said it already, but HBO structured it this way because contract negotiations were up for actors after S6, so they just lied and said S7 was "S6 part two" to avoid having to renegotiate lol.
Tony: “Don’t give me that look!” Sil making the same face he has made for six seasons in a row: ☹️
Probably a controversial opinion but that's why I'm not too big on his acting or his character in the show. Don't know what David Chase was thinking when he almost made him Tony Soprano.
