Some background info on Inarizaki: Hyogo Prefecture where Inarizaki is from is located in the west of Japan, next to Osaka. Therefore, the pronunciation of Inarizaki players has a strong Western Japanese accent. Inari refers to the Japanese shrine of fox worship. Inari are found throughout Japan, and foxes are worshipped as deities. In the last scene, a torii gate was shown, and that is because Inarizaki image comes from Inari. Inarizaki are portrayed as protectors of a Holy shrine, while Karasuno are the demons from the North, there to pillage it. Just like in old engraved pictures. The dignified renowned challengers vs the unknown forces of chaos and destruction.
Inarizaki like many other teams in this show is also adapted from a real highschool named Ichiama（市立尼崎高校). At this year national Ichiama actually played inarizaki theme ost during their matches.❤️
