The film that Junior was watching on TV when Tony came to his house was Paths of Glory (1957), an excellent anti-war film by Stanley Kubrick.
I'm happy everyone is in agreement: you guys would love Mad Men! Stick in there for it because as it goes further, it becomes so clear how good of a show it is. Despite the name; Peggy & Joan are easily two of my favourite characters/storylines in TV.
They're gonna love Joan/Peggy
Guys, True Detective is a must. Specially S1. And please do not release just 1 sopranos weekly. It's a slow show so momentum is important, specially in the last season :)
And Adolescence should be saved for you both to react. Absolutely brilliant acting!
Mad Men would be such a great pick. The writing is up there with Sopranos/BCS/Breaking Bad. I think that they would really vibe with Peggy.
Boardwalk empire for sure !!
absolutely the best show
Mad men all the way!!!! :) Boardwalk empire after maybe give the gangster theme a little rest...
Definitely Andor, its just in time for the 2nd season too. You guys will adore the political intrigue.
Watch Andor. It's one of the best shows on TV and you'll have so much to say about the politics!
Andor?? they know nothng of star wars.. :D :D wtf??? thats like watching Avengers end game without the 30 other movies before it to give it context.. :D
Two suggestions for your next show. 1. If you like these anti hero dramas like Sopranos and Breaking Bad, the next best thing u haven’t watched yet is a show called The Shield. It’s about a dirty cop. Great show with a great finale. 7 seasons. I don’t see a lot of people reacting to it, so maybe you can start the trend. 2# Supernatural. A very good and popular show. It’s 15 seasons, but the original show runner who created the show left after Five seasons. He finished it his way with a great finale but the show was so popular, the network hired a new show runner, and kept it going. Anyway, I stopped watching after 5.
Gotta be Mad Men - all timer that is great all the way through.
A lot went on in this episode but my favorite part is Tony throwing a "hi sweetie, how are you?" to his baby niece 🤣
