There is an anime called “Space★Dandy” made by the same director as this work, and in episode 8, there is a refrigerator that Spike threw out into space and a mysterious space creature. It is a joke by the director.

Space Dandy had such an amazing style. It's a shame it came out when anime was at a popularity decline in the West because I think it would blow the tits off people if it came out now. I don't like it as much as say, Kids on the Slope which the girls should react to, but it's so good.

I love seeing people watching this for the first time. A joke episode made an an homage to the Alien & Aliens movies
