Haikyuu!! 3x08 Reaction

what a lovely final line Ukai's original VA left us

Washijo (Shiratorizawa's coach) is in my top 3 favourite characters of haikyu. I love a great antagonist and his story is just so beatifully written, so I really appreciate your comment on him, most reactors don't <3

The last minute of this episode is absolute cinema to me!!!! :')

2 EPISODE IN A ROW IM SO HAPPPYYYYYY

rip to former coach Ukai's VA - that last line delivery was really hard-hitting and full of emotion. also, semi and shirabu's mini arc regarding the starting position thing had more to it in the manga - basically the coach chose shirabu because he doesn't stand out nor does he wish to, but he's reliable and a good player regardless. semi is a kageyama/oikawa type of setter - risky, flashy, wants to get through blocks using his own abilities and command the game, shirabu wants the spiker to shine and be more passive, and therefore shirabu fits the current shiratorizawa team better despite the fact that semi is actually the second most talented one on the team alongside ushijima according to the player stats in the manga, so basically he's kind of like what would've happened had oikawa chosen shiratorizawa and a foil to suga as well in a way. he's actually one of my favorites on this team and even though they cut a lot of his moments for the anime adaptation, i think you still get to see his courage and talent in what we do get of him in the anime. can't wait for next episode!! <3

I'm sure you two already know, but there's a bonus scene from the season 3 recap movie that needs to be watched after episode 10 (like the Seijoh scene after season 2). It's less than 2 minutes long but very important.

the amount of times yall said “i can’t believe we did this” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Tsuki running back onto that court gotta be one of the most hype moments of the series 😮‍💨

All the Severance fans waiting for LM's reaction to 2x4 for the past week: https://media.tenor.com/PM1NWm8OIyoAAAA1/waiting.webp

RIP Coach Ukais voice actor. He left us with a great final quote.

Ukai’s voice actor passed away in this season. That last phrase “don’t you dare to look down, volleyball it’s a sport that you’re always looking up” was literally his last line in the show before passing. It’s beautiful

It's actually too unbelievable that the last lines Ukai's VA Kazunari Tanaka recorder are those at the end of this episode. Such powerful and beautiful words. Rest in peace, you were an absolute legend!

tsuki getting 4 thumbnails almost in a row is insane😭 you’re the biggest tsuki stans girlies

If I’m remembering right, the Karasuno Coach VA passed away after this season.. him screaming in this ep is a moment I always remember of this show and his character. Edit: okay damn yeah it was after this episode.. RIP
