Haikyuu!! 2x01 Reaction

That was an interesting conversation. I also was a swimmer and I had two national records. Everyone on my swimming team was a top student academically, though the swimming club itself wasn't connected to any school and we all attended different schools anyway. I'm sure it is a coincidence that we were good students and swimmers, but it was interesting to hear Melena saying her team were all straight A students as well. Maybe it is just swimmers. Maybe chlorine makes you smarter. I doubt it, but who knows? LOL

Shiratori = swan (lit. white bird), hence the white bird flying with Karasuno's Crows : Karasu = crow and related species like ravens, for example. You probably knew that. [sorry. I don't read other people's comments because of spoilers] It was a very interesting first episode. I'm hopeful that this will be a good season. I enjoyed the first season but I hoped it would branch out a bit and show more of their school life and other things. I didn't expect it to be 100% volleyball, which was probably foolish of me going into a show about volleyball lol. It was good but I'm hopeful for this season. I think we might get some more depth to our characters that isn't related to volleyball.

If you're loving Haikyu I highly recommend Hajime no Ippo, it's about boxing and the character are just as amazing

OVA Lev Appears a must watch

Hinata Shoyo From The Concrete!!! Next to Eren's this is my favorite Declaration of War and as much as people claim Ushiwaka is arrogant, did you see how he KNOWS about Karasuno and he respects their drive and determination... He's excited at facing us. That's a real competitor. God I love Haikyuu

IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS SEASON YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE!!! YOURE GONNA ADORE EVERY. BIT. OF. IT. Also my fav opening is the next one after this one.

It's Ushiwaka!!!!!, my favorite matter of fact, extremely blunt baby boy whose constantly misunderstood by some reactors. I love how immediately you ladies picked up on the fact that he is a matter of fact kind of guy and that there is no malice behind his words. Of course though it's easy to see how that can frustrate people like how it did with Hinata, but knowing that he is not intentionally being mean makes me love him. Also love how you ladies pointed out that it just seems like an impossible task to beat him, I remember when I first watched this episode and I saw him, he felt very different than anyone we met before, there was just an aura around him that felt impossible to overcome. Can't wait for this season, and all the new characters, in this season you ladies will be introduced to my personal favorite character/Player outside of my boys in Karasuno, and I can't wait.

And awww I love how, even though this is their first time meeting Ushiwaka, they instantly get that he doesn't have a bad attitude. He's just incredibly straightforward and blunt, which can come off as rude to others. Really excited for LM to meet a lot of new characters and experience really great moments this season! 🫶

I think it's pretty logical that Oikawa didn't apply for Shiratorizawa. His goal at the end of junior high was to defeat Ushijima. If he goes to his school, he can't win against him.

Yall have come so far with remembering names, 2021 LM would have nicknamed Yamaguchi something silly like Bernard.
