Severance is such trash lol
I know you had Andor in a poll earlier, but please consider watching it in the future. It's kino. And second season is coming real soon! And I think it'd be up your alley. A well-written story about the birth of a revolution against a fascist empire.
Love your guys' reviews. I really hope you guys start Mad Men soon!
Would you guys be down to watch Cobra Kai?
where's the dexter reactions :(
wait, they watched dexter??
Please react to interview with a vampire! Jacob Anderson(Greyworm Got) is in it idk if that helps but the performances are great! Everything is great!
I wish Generation Kill would be on one of these short show polls.
severance best show in recent 5 years
SEVERANCE IS AMAZING, PLEASE WATCH!
Oh no deaths game will never win 🥲 people sleeping on it
Death's Game is so good!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let Severance win! One of my favorites, and I'm 100% sure you would both love it.
Guys please keep in mind that it will be hard to find a good Korean show that Lola has not already watched 😆
all of these shows are great but at some point I'd love a This is Us reaction
Severance will be the winner and I think it's great, but I'm very happy with the signs that in the future we'll have LM reacting to South Korean shows
Lola seems to be a big fan, so it's just a matter of convincing the patrons that these shows are worth it! What would you suggest if you had your way?
Have heard great things about Severance!! As for k-dramas one of the greatest is Pachinko (8 eps) which I heavily recommend at least watching in your own time, if only for the fact that it's directed by the legendary video essayist turned film director Kogonada, whose 2 films Columbus (2017) and After Yang (2022) are imho some of the most beautiful emotional portrayals of the human experience and are considered masterpieces of modern indie cinema as well.
Any chance for Andor?
More of a chance after S2 is out. They dont like having to wait. So keep your fingers crossed S2 matches up to S1
I haven't watched yet severance but I'd heard great things. I think Gen V is something you must watch 1OO% it's sad you didn't watched it before the last season of The Boys. And Death's Game was awesome to be honest. I loved it. So I'm not sure how I will vote yet
Interesting choices, I haven't heard of My Name or Death's Game before. Also on the subject of Korean dramas, I think Pachinko would be a really good pick for a future poll too.
Severance = Watching paint dry😴 My Name or Death's Game.
Clearly havent watched it
Have the girls ever commented on Chernobyl? I'd love to get their take on that masterpiece.
They've seen it in their own time
I still appreciate My Name being put on this poll though it's definitely not gonna win against Severance. And I wanna take this chance to recommend it to anyone who hasn't heard of it or had some troubles finding information about it (since it has a quite common name and might be confused with other shows). Here's the show's basic info on imdb: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12940504 In my opinion, My Name stands out in the world of K-dramas with its strong female lead and focus on intense action rather than romance, which is often the center of many Korean series with a female protagonist. And I love Han So-hee's powerful portrayal of the protagonist so much. And it only has 8 episodes so it won't take much time. Anyway, it is a must-watch for people who crave a fierce, action-packed story centered around personal growth and survival.
I really loved it, I loved the action and the main character. Everything was so well done. Until the last episode, I feel like it ruined the whole show for me
Firefly? 😞
Let's goooo!
Since Severance seems to be a pretty clear winner, you still have to decide how you want to do it with Arcane and Squid Game and everything after. Severance is 9 episodes long, so if you stick with one episode per week, you'll probably release the last episode on November 9th. Arcane season 2 will release the first 3 episodes on November 2nd. If you upload the first Arcane episode on November 16th, Arcane would go until January 11th (no christmas break included). And then there's Squid Game on December 26th and Severance Season 2 on January 17th, exactly one week after January 11th. You could theoretically consider watching Squid Game Season 2 after Severance, so on March 22, but then the hype is probably already over for many. Otherwise, if you want to watch Squid Game during the hype and also don't want to push Severance Season 2 away, that would mean a 7 slot week again, kind of stressful and that during Christmas - February, which is just the worst timing. And then there's Andor season 2 in February/March and then Gen V season 2 and The Bear season 4 in the summer 2025. The only good thing is: Sopranos is finished in June, so you could use the long show slot again to finish watching currently running shows and free up the pipeline. Still a difficult thing to find a schedule that will work smoothly. The good thing about the anime slot is that with Frieren and Vinland Saga we only have two shows that will get more seasons in the next years. So there are fewer problems there. :D
Are we getting more seasons of Vinland Saga..(?) I know there is more material to be adapted from the manga but idk if it was popular enough to get a third season. It could be wrong though.
EZ Severance win. Good thing, it's easily and objectively the best of the bunch. And S2 is a few months away so timing is decent.
It's not objectively the best. There's no objectivity in the appraisal of art.
L&M have you ever considered watching the original fullmetal alchemist? People like to hate on it because it doesnt stick to the manga but its objectively still a good story and it has a movie at the end that I think you'll like. Just a thought.
BANSHEE is the type if show the girls would like. Hopefully it will make it on a poll one day
38 Episodes, so probably in the Long Show Slot, because the Short Show Slot is kind of loaded with shows right now. I think this will be the last real poll for a year because of Arcane, Squid Game, Severance, Andor and Gen V.
Damn I was hoping for Gen V to win. I’ve never seen Severance but I’m willing to give it a try.
I went in totally blind to Severance and was blown away. When I tell my friends about it I tell them the less they know going into it, the better.
I have to Politely Abstain. I've only heard of two of these shows, and I haven't even watched those.
That's a vote for Andor, we count those.
Severance is an excellent choice for this channel. Lots of meaty discussions await.
Where's Demon Slayer at?
One.. this poll is for short shows and two.. it will never be on a poll. Hell I rather the girls to react to Hamtaro or anything else besides that mediocre show lol
I want you to watch Gen V, but I’m not gonna vote against Severence.
Is time for Dark for Milena
dang i wanted interview with the vampire
Succession!
god i wish
They need to watch ALICE IN BORDER LAND
watched that one when it came out
When will my Mad Men prayers be answered...
Very disappointed to see Mad Men isn't on this short show poll. Is it a short show? No. But does it still deserve that slot anyway? Also no.
Severance will win and I'm happy! Currently only watching Frieren so glad I have another show to follow along. Don't have time to start new shows so will be giving Haikyuu and Sopranos a miss. Still 3 episodes of the Bear for me to catch up on...
All Hail King Milchick. #Severance
My heart still breaks that Andor lost. Such an amazing show.
Andor didn't lose anything 😭 it wasn't considered an option because S2 isn't out until August 2024 (meh)
I hope Severance wins because I barely see anyone react/talk about it even though it’s amazing! And the second season is coming out soon!
Yaboyroshi started reacting to it too and seems like its going to win here
Have to go My Name on this one even though it will probably lose, but finally some Korean options
But my name is so disappointing 😭 it's all good until the final episode, they ruined everything
I say severance. Gen V was okay but I feel like it can wait since you just did The Boys.
Voting for Andor, in my mind (while clicking Severance) [edit] I love the Discord and the people in it (im in it lol) but its only 100 people, these polls get 1600+ votes, the discord isn't representative of the general voting audience. Unless they suggest Mad Men, then it's 100% representative please ignore me : )
"If we can vote half as hard as we've been working, Andor will be on the list in no time"
My name korean??
Yep, the Korean "My Name" :D
“My name”?
you need to watch gen v because you’re watching the boys, but severance is phenomenal
Damn i was hoping for Andor. Well gen v or severance will do
all these shows have 8 episodes and andor has 12 and that wouldnt work for us with arcane coming in november but we still have andor in mind to watch
severance is the right pick
Korean series finally!!!
Severance all the way
Severance LFG!
There's a discord?

SEVERANCE
Yea it definitely needs to be severance. That show is so good
Severance. Severance. Severance. Cannot wait!!
Why not just have 2 options again like last time? Wasn't it a lot of fun?
….
STOP THE COUNT!! (Let's go Severance)
I didn’t ask for this ptsd
