Subscribed to ur patreon after watching ur Haikyuu release on youtube yesterday. I’m so happy that you’re enjoying this gem. It’s really a very special anime. I like the dark edgy shows as much as the next person but Haikyuu is just pure serotonin. It just give u that energy to face this dark world 🙏🥹
Aaah as much as I'm loving LM loving the boys, I feel like I have to say this early on. I love that you are paying attention to the characters and trying to understand them, even if they are not being the most likable (*cough Tsukki cough*). However, Im just mildly worried that they might miss out on some amazing character growth moments if they brush every conflict off as "aww its okay they are going to love each other!" at this point. I know you guys go deep in character analysis, so for example, I think its okay to acknowledge that Kageyama has some issues that are most definitely not because he secretly admires Hinata lol. I don't know if i explained myself right but I guess... I want them to be a little harsher (?) on the boys. Even though I myself am very protective of karasuno and wouldn't tolerate any slander hahaha. Anyway please dont let my comment make you enjoy the show any less! im only saying it cuz I would love to hear your thoughts on the character conflicts and dynamics as the show is presenting them and with a less biased (?) perspective.
On the bright side, all those Oikawa stans that cant hear a single negative opinion on him despite him being an early 'antagonist' /obstacle for karasuno will probably be overjoyed if they go all empathy on Oikawa immediately :D
Watching you watch this show makes me SO HAPPY!!! It's one of my favorite shows, and the fact that Lola played volleyball is a HUGE bonus! I kinda wish you could binge the show so I can binge your reactions. This show has SO much depth and emotion, you simply have no idea. The author was a player and huge volleyball fan. The show is more accurate and realistic than your typical shounen.
"Haikyu" literally means "volleyball" in Japanese. :D
It’s Hi-Q “Haikyuu”
Still pinching myself that you’re actually reacting to Haiikyu
im so glad this anime is long. In for a ride lol
They play Haikuyy's opennings during the Olympics Games in which the japanese volleyball teams are playing!
I was going crazy when i realized this!
I think you girls have already cried more than i ever did while watching and reading the whole story 🤣 so glad I upgraded my tier!
Im starting to get worried about them lol
They have cried on every single episode so far. This show is literally PERFECT for them.
Honestly calling Bertholdt Bernard was one of the best decisions you've ever made, it never failed to make me smile whenever you mentioned him with a straight face and moved on as if that was his canon name (it actually is)
Sugawara/Suga (gray-haired guy who helps Hinata) is such a sweetheart, definitely one of my favourite characters who's sometimes overlooked, I love him so much T^T I laughed so hard when I saw LM's insults almost spilling out only for them to make the active effort to stop themselves. All they ended up saying is "shut up" and I just couldn't stop laughing at that whole scene. Tsukishima/Tsukki (blond with glasses) is definitely an interesting character to follow, it takes time to warm up to him compared to other Karasuno members - depends on the person tbh - but I'm looking forward to see how they are going to interact with him!
Tsukki, my fav!!!
if the tears are coming now can yall imagine later hahaha
thought friday is frieren friday? what is the current schedule?
Look into the last "The Bear" upload. Frieren comes tomorrow.
Since I've binged the whole first season since last time, I can only wish you good luck in remembering the names of the characters. I checked the wiki again, and there are about 240 characters in total, and you should be able to remember 30 of them by name, as they get a bit more screentime than the others. Here are the more important characters so far: Daichi Sawamura (#1 Captain) Kōshi Sugawara (#2 Vice-Captain) Ryūnosuke Tanaka (#5) Tobio Kageyama Shōyō Hinata Kei Tsukishima Tadashi Yamaguchi Kiyoko Shimizu (Manager)
Tsukki the tall, blond, glasses guy is voiced by Meruem's voice actor. Both amazing characters
oh shit true, i kept thinking its a familiar voice
couldn't even watch the second one yet because a friend is crashing at my place and between that and work i can't find free time to watch the reactions 😭
Meruem is back!
Tsukki is here
