I think it would be best to wait a couple more seasons to be adapted. Or at least the second season thats already confirmed. The original material has so much stuff to adapt, so hopefully we will get multiple seasons! But I agree, I think they would like it
Haikyuu came second to Hunter and I’ve been waiting for it for like 3 and a half years and they already bought merch and want to watch it if it loses again I’m going to kill myself (in a video game)

Personally, I'm waiting for the anime adaptation to get further into the story before I start recommending it to people. I do think they could really love it though.

I will just post this again: Reasons why we should vote Monster instead of Haikyuu: 1. Monster is finished. Haikyuu gets the movie "The Final Part 2" in Fall 2025/Winter 2026, which can't adapt the whole story. So in 2027 there will be another movie or even a last season in case the production team decides to adapt the rest of the story as well. And with Vinland Saga Season 3, House of the Dragon Season 3, The Boys Season 5, Frieren Season 2, The Last of Us Season 2, The Bear Season 4, Invincible Season 3, One Piece Season 2, Fallout Season 2... we already have many ongoing shows. They also prefer finished shows. 2. Monster is almost 20 episodes, so 10 weeks, shorter. 3. ridleymoon: "It would be very funny if they watched 70+ episodes of Monster wearing Karasuno High T-shirts." 4. Haikyuu sometimes has matches that take place over several episodes. Due to the 2 episodes per week release, we will sometimes see a match between two teams for a whole month. Reasons why we should vote Haikyuu instead of Monster: 1. Haikyuu is the more upbeat show. And with The Bear, Arcane, Squid Game, ... there are a lot of shows that are rather dark in the next months. Haikyuu would balance things out a bit. 2. Monster has a very slow pacing and takes a while to build up momentum. 3. They already have Haikyuu T-shirts and they have interest in volleyball. 4. Monster is an old anime. (Seems to be a reason for some :D) 5. We could push them instead of taking the other top 3/4 anime from the last Short Anime Poll to take crime-thriller anime in the next poll as compensation for not getting Monster, e.g. Banana Fish, Odd Taxi, Pluto, Erased and Psycho Pass.
I'm not sure I understand the 5th bullet point you listed in favor of watching Haikyuu over Monster. If you have time, would you mind explaining it again?
Would you consider watching fruits basket its really a masterpiece it honestly changed my life the charachters, story and music are truly amazing I got introduced to this channel through hxh it has been an amazing experience I found out many new percpectives to this amazing show through this channel and I would love to see that with fruits basket it truly would be a dream come true.
A lot of people are asking for JJK but I think they already said it's gonna be a poll only between Monster and Haikyuu unfortunately. I still hope they include it. If no JJK I'm voting for Monster

I'm hoping they get to check out Jujutsu Kaisen eventually, I know there's a couple people in here that aren't a fan of it, but based on how LM reactions feels about the characters in HxH and Aot I think they would love the character writing in Jjk, especially the main characters!!

Re:Zero is a great recommendation. For me s1 was decent but s2 was absolutely phenomenal. Maybe is better to wait for S3 before a reaction.
My hope is for Monster too. It is such an excellent series. Naoki Urasawa is able to construct really great characters.

JUJUTSU KAISEN! its a great followup to Hxh as the author was heavily influenced by it
JJK isn't even close to HxH in any regard, its mostly a battle anime. I do not think they would like it.
Another show I'd love to see you watch is Natsume Yuujinchou (Natsume's Book of Friends), but I don't think it's popular enough to ever win a poll on this channel. Another reactor that I follow is watching it right now, and it's been such a nice feeling to re-experience the joys of Natsume. It gives me Frieren vibes in a way.
there was a show in this past spring season called Tonari no Yokai that I enjoyed that reminded me of Natsume Yuujinchou 🥹 Its def not as good but I think if you enjoy the latter, you might enjoy this one (:

Juuni Kokuki (Twelve Kingdoms), Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Monster, Cowboy Bebop, BECK, Chihayafuru, Kemono no Souja Erin, Nodame Cantabile etc. So many great anime to react to that I loved, but sadly the currently trending and popular shows like Demon Slayer, Haikyuu, etc. are 99/100 times going to win.

I have a suggestion. Maybe this could be a great opportunity to watch your first anime movie before starting the next long anime show. Can you consider the possibility? Maybe you could make a poll to choose a movie, for example, "Your Name" or "A Silent Voice." There are several movies I'm sure you will love and that are perfect for a reaction.

I said something similar back when they finished watching FMAB, but the idea didn't seem too popular. I suggested waiting at least a year before including FMA in a hypothetical future poll, but people said other shows should get a chance. Which is fair. There were a few haters though, which was a shame (I enjoy the original FMA). I'm not familiar with HxH 99. Is it frowned upon, or does the community think positively about it?
It seems so surreal you will end HxH. It will leave a void difficult to fill. Definitely I will rewatch HxH after this Thursday from the start. I will be happy with either Monster or Haikyuu both are awesome. Maybe I will vote for the options will less votes because I really like both shows. Also if you decide to read the manga of HxH after this It will be insteresting to know your opinions and discussions. Or I don't know If you prefer to be patient and wait someday for the adaptation to anime.
Personally Monster would be my favorite choice for them. I feel like they would understand the show very well since they are so good at analyzing characters. But considering how niche it is, i dont see much hope for it to win in a poll against a more recent and popular show. If thats the case, Haikyuu, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia would work. I would even settle for Demon Slayer just so they can experience the animation.
JJK is not up their alley. Mid characters, a paucity of story, and almost entirely about fighting. It's a fine 7/10 show with some amazing animation, but it's not worth their reaction time.
I know Lola and Milena won’t see this but I’ll keep posting and hope they do one time because this show is another one that’s extremely extremely underrated on a level most people don’t understand. Hope you consider it for the long show polls one day since I doubt you’ll be having it on after this show is finished. One day I’ll bribe or keep praying that Lola and Milena will try out and react to one of the highest ranked anime of all time on AOT or even higher level. That show is Legend of the Galactic heroes but it’s old and very few have seen it but it’s got a disgustingly high ranking for a reason I would hope it gets more love one day. Until then I hope it will be a choice people pick eventually. Without spoiling it’s a show like Star Wars, game of thrones and Star Trek with politics, philosophy and history mix and amazing characters. Please consider this show at least cus I know you would like it. (Also there’s 2 movies made to watch/react to before you start the main show)

I remember when I finished HxH 5 years ago it was like saying goodbye to a friend you met for only a short time but left a lasting impression on you. I damn near lost when I found out about togoshi his health and the idea it’s a series that might never have a conclusion but in the end being grateful I experienced the characters and story at that time unique to me.
