Frieren: Beyond Journey's End 1x01 Reaction

With all the ways I have heard discussions about this show reminds me of the way people I've talked to would act with Cowboy Bebop, so I've been keeping it aside until I could give it some proper time, attention and focus, looking forward to it ^^ Shame the intro and outro for the first episode are lost, but this seems like a good series to try watching with full reactions for a first 😄

I just took the Full Reaction, but maybe that is the best solution for now for people who want to watch an "Edit" Version. I still hope we get the discussion of that reaction back! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K43dYkIPAoYtNrCePW62vwOf1YBKmS3Z/view?usp=sharing

WHERE IS THE VIDEOOO :(((

Hi! It seems the video is down🥹

could you please reupload it? I was really looking forward to see this reaction video🥺

I decided to give this show a chance after someone recommended it to me. I am also not able to see the first episode and it is also unavailable to me on YouTube. Just FYI. Looks really good so far. Loved the first episode.

I just started watching "Frieren" after a friend really gave me the hard sell, but it looks like the first episode of your reaction isn't available. Will you re-upload it?

Where can I find episode 1?

What happened to this video :o

Joined your patreon just for this show!

I legit don't know any other show that made me emotional within the first 12-14 mins of the show, (most of the times it's by the end of the premiere of the episode). Frieren somehow managed to do that, and when I first watched it, it made me question a gut feeling if this is going to rock my top 10. It easily went to my top 5. Welcome to the Journey's End ❤ this and Vinland Saga was my top 2 anime of the year of 2023 (even tho cour 2 of Frieren was this year).

I have been dying for this since i found this channel

Este anime lo pospuse hasta que finalizara su temporada y que lo empezaran ustedes. Bueno, acabo de iniciarlo

Here we go 🔥

im excited to watch this along with you guys! this first episode was incredibly beautiful and right up my alley

praying for haikyuu ):

OMG I'm so so so excited for you girls to react to Frieren!! Instantly became a favourite of mine 💖💖

Y’all are going to love this series!!!! It’s my favorite

<3

"what a cute kid i'm gonna kms" x2 LOL yes fern is the cutest

Frieren is such a beautifully tragic story of time. I can't wait to see you girls go through this journey. Starting this show was one of the best decisions I made this year, truly.

acabo de comenzar a ver el show con ustedes

This will be my third time watching frieren

girls you are going to love this show more and more, I can't wait for you to meet the best boy

damn becouse of this show i need become a member next month

I only hope Haikyuu loses next poll because it would be very funny if they watched 70+ episodes of Monster wearing karasuno high t shirts.

I guess I’d better start watching this show then

Not me ugly crying multiple times this episode despite this being my 3rd watchthrough hahaha. So glad you're reacting to this just as you're finishing HxH, as this is honestly just below HxH as my favourite anime after a single season.

Fun fact, when you guys said that the episode felt like a movie, for the majority of us it kind of already was. The first 4 episodes dropped all at once and most people watched them in one sitting

Oh, we've got em with this one :D

Only thing I'll say is that a lot of names in this anime are based on German, so if you're ever doubtful about how to pronounce names, lean more German if that helps.

Interested to see their reaction to this show. It defs has elements they would enjoy so should be a nice watch 🥰

Man I forgot how emotional the first episode was! It's definitely one of the all time great first episodes. I'm really looking forward to watching this series again with your reactions. Frieren Fridays will be a highlight of the week. I just started watching Haikyuu and its really good so far, looking forward to those reactions too!

very happy to revisit this beautiful series with you two, I love all the characters, and the dialogues are gems and I think for this series it is good to watch 1 episode a week as it is like violet evergarden you don't need to continue in a hurry, I feel it is also a show to take some time after each episode. <3 <3 and lola I understand you, I started watching the series without knowing anything and I ended up crying with all the episodes, my chicken heart couldn't handle anything 😔🫶

Just don't read comments and enjoy the discovery girls, people tend to give way too much details

so excited for this! i could see how the pacing and episodic nature of this show could be dull for some but for their channel it’ll be great. most eps feel like warm vignettes so it serves well as a weekly series

This show is something special. It starts where most stories would usually end. "Beyond Journey’s End" is such a fitting title because it explores exactly what fans often think about: What happens to our favorite characters after their grand adventure is over? On top of that, seeing everything through the eyes of an elf who’s lived for centuries, maybe even thousands of years, adds a whole new layer to the story. I'm already looking forward to the next episodes. And quick info: All names are German adjectives/verbs/nouns and give a brief description of the characters. Frieren = freeze, be cold Himmel = sky, heaven Heiter = cheerful, bright Eisen = iron, ferrous Fern = distant, far away

The music in this show is composed by Evan Call, same guy who composed the music in Violet Evergarden, so it does have kind of a similar vibe like you guys said!

Please do an old anime poll next time

Yoooo! Let's goooooo! So happy this won 😁👍

I’m gonna miss this slot but I hope everyone else enjoy this one.

If you want to watch Haikyuu! Please just watch it, no one will be against it.

I'm really disappointed that JJK is not gonna be on the long poll. I was really excited to see you guys react to it. I guess i have to wait 2 years. Monster is gonna have my vote now that jjk is not gonna be there.

This show heals the soul of anyone

I'm so excited I've looked forward to this reaction the most!

Wow now Fridays is Frieren day! I love it. Frieren was also broadcasted on Fridays. Let's the Journey Begins! (Or maybe is Let's the Journey End? )

Siiii

here we goooo

men and women will see this update an go: HELL YEAH

YAY!!! While I would have personally not put this in the "short" show category myself, I am really happy you're watching it. Especially after you guys watched Violet Evergarden with the intention of watching more female-led anime, and this one is great for that. Really looking forward to seeing you both experience this journey!

FYI the first 4 episodes are meant to be watched at once. They released all together as a bigger episode

NO WAYYYY

loads of tears coming from 😭

Ok ok...LET'S GOOOO...WHAT A SURPRISE
