When I got to this episode I was confused and laughing like the Joker hahahaha. By the way, by Challengers do you mean Zendaya's movie? Because I saw the trailer and it seems like there are some heterosexual orgasms, I mean, it's not for me. Anyway, only two episodes left until 131, can't wait
My friends and I have a groupchat called poufgasm out of respect for this episode lmaoo
Lola is right, not even Sense8 had as many simultaneous orgasms
Whoever made the caption, I agree lol
That caption is crazy 😭 Please watch challengers on your own time it's such a good film 🙏
As someone who only popped in from time to time after episode 33 or so, I was completely confused by this episode. The last thing I saw was Gon angrily reducing the deadline by 10 minutes. Hunter x Hunter is really freaky.
The challengers comment😭🤣
can you guys imagine them trying to rank their favorite haikyuu characters, I believe i could guess their 1 but after that no way lol
Everything will eventually make sense is all you need to know. You’d have a better chance at predicting things with HxH, if you’re constantly going with the unconventional routes that still makes sense given everything that’s been established.
You touch on it in your discussion, but I love how Togashi writes the Royal Guards to be absolutely loyal to the king, but in very different ways. In episode 108, the king asks them what his name is, and their answers all reveal how they interpret his wishes. Pouf declares him King, Youpi says the question is beyond his capacity, and Pitou says what matters most are King's feelings. They all believe they are doing what's best for the king, but it creates so much tension when these powerful beings disagree on what needs to be done (for example, whether Komugi should live).
Aleczandxr fan?
The fact that you watched the King's birth ep on Christmas day and then watched his rebirth (back to life) on your Easter is so symbolic lol
This is definitely one of the Anime episodes of all time...
I would absolutely love watching you guys react to Alecxandxr's youtube analysis videos on this hxh arc after you finish it. He goes really in depth into each royal guard character and how groundbreaking this entire thing is and how much you two align and/or expand further. That's just how good the writing and this story is
The joy I felt seeing the king come back was unmatched haha I love meruem so much
Please, someone explain this description?
Challengers is new movie with Zendaya. It has been heavily advertised in EU cinemas by some cryptic trailers with some very sexual undertones (threesomes, 2 guys obsessing over Zendaya etc)
I love that the girls are stumped 😝
Oh best Saturday morning watch haha I'm ready!
"The possible ones are not about to happen" LOL
Loved the discussion
"I feel defeated" lol, trying to predict HxH is funny bc this show is so fucking unexpected and creative, and it doesn't follow the rules and the clichés that we see a lot. Just wanna say that you're gonna love the final development of this arc.
It’s a weird scene, maybe a little too uncomfortable to watch but it’s still understandable since this is their first time hearing any praise from meruem, the only thing he gave them before was some slaps and it’s literally the thing they want from life, serving him and hearing him be so pleasured with what they did was a delight to their life.
I think pouf referred to komugi as “it” when he said it’s the perfect chance to dispose.
The noises they (the VAs) made in this episode 💀💀
This episode grew on me over the years. Yeah it's very, very strange but Pouf and Youpi are basically fulfilling their single reason for existence beyond their wildest dreams. I think the sexual undertones (overtones?) are important because for the royal guard, who don't reproduce, nourishing the King with their own bodies is closest analogue to sex they have.
I've watched HxH many times and I never knew if the scene of Pouf and Youpi orgasming was supposed to be funny or dramatic, maybe both, Idk
I know how you feel when you say you feel "defeated", Lola. That's how I felt when I first watched this arc and found out that Gon was gonna face Pitou all by himself. Meruem coming back to life even stronger was just the cherry on top.
Certainly one of the scenes of all time.
I’m not going to lie… the whole Pouf/Youpi scene took me off this arc for a few minutes because is such a weird scene and the tone is so silly in contrast to everything that has been happening so far in this arc lol idk it feels a bit awkward to put that tone this late in the arc.
They were just channeling their inner Hisoka, lol
THE DESCRIPTION LMAOOO
Pouf and Youpi on their queen shit 😤🫡
OMG girls watch 'Challengers' there is actually no way in hell you won't be obsessed with it. It's the best cinema experience I've had in years
I love you guys
You're not wrong
10/10 description, HAD to comment because of it lmao
LMAO just the description and I automatically remember what happened in this episode 🤣
Is it possible to explain the context behind this? Lol
