Haikyuu !! Best sport anime and you would love it !
As a huge fan of sports anime over the years I'd say in terms of the main stream popular ones sure you could make an argument although Hajime No Ippo I believe still takes the cake but there's quite a few under the radar ones that are way more interesting than Haikyuu they just don't have the length to compare unfortunately, just going from crunchyroll some are: Stars Align, Run with the Wind, Megalobox. Edit: I will say though in terms of strictly "team" progression Haikyuu probably is the clear winner only other one I can think of off the top of my head is Giant Killing but again it unfortunately only has 1 season. A lot of the other ones I mentioned are kinda more individually focused and therefore more compelling in terms of a story narrative imo.
Frieren!! Please 🙏🏻
Ohhh. Great choice.
Monster is a good show, it's very well written and would be very in tune with you guys. I think Monster or Haikyuu would really be the best choices.
i'm voting haikyuu but either choice would still be amazing to watch
One day I’ll bribe or keep praying that Lola and Milena will try out and react to one of the highest ranked anime of all time on AOT or even higher level. That show is Legend of the Galactic heroes but it’s old and very few have seen it but it’s got a disgustingly high ranking for a reason I would hope it gets more love one day. Until then I hope it will be a choice people pick eventually. Without spoiling it’s a show like Star Wars, game of thrones and Star Trek with politics, philosophy and history mix and amazing characters.
you would love haikyuu and monster so much
you would adoooore monster like that anime is so good and so well writen
I love Ikalgo, but this is the ultimate "everyone else go away!" episode. You're jonesing for Meruem v Netero so bad at this point.
Please just put haikyuu and monster in the poll they're the perfect shows for you. I really don't think you'll like code Geass. As much as I love haikyuu, I really hope monster will be next to change a bit and to have an adult protagonist for once but I don't think it will win. So I'm really hoping for Pluto after rok, it's a Naoki Urasawa's manga ( the author of monster) and it will be the perfect opportunity for you to discover his amazing storytelling. Plus, Pluto is very short it's only 8 episodes so please have it in mind!
They would HATE Code Geass’ fanservice especially in the second season 😂
My vote is for gurren lagann
Monster is unlike anything you’ve watched on the channel. At least anime wise. The discussions about morality and humanity would be elite 😭😭 I know haikyuu would beat it though.
I agree with this sentiment in its entirety, haha
Haikyuu makes too much sense to not do
Monster all day
Gurren Lagann would be so hype
I want them to watch Haikyuu so bad😭😭😭
Samee
Palms scales cover her self harm scars. They also protect her from cutting herself more in that spot. Maybe this signifies that she's more mentally stable now.
haikyuu is one of if not the best written media out there, it would be a delight to watch you girls react to it
Awesome stuff, you two would love Monster fr!
Monster has the best written characters in Anime. Hope it wins its my second favorite Anime ever only behind AOT. Haikyuu is good too its my 8th favorite out of the 30 Animes Ive watched. Sadly Monster will probably lose the poll as its quite old and not many people have watched it
Fate Zero would be nice for a short anime
haikyuu will have you adopting many more children <3 glgl
"My Boys/children/darlings" Counter will be over 9000...and it legitimately might actually come close to that number
This is one of the most underrated episodes in HxH bc it gets obscured by the rest of the amazing things happening in this arc. Considering the themes of friendship trust and bravery, the dichotomy between welfin and ikalgo is beautifully written
hxh fans are unmatched at praising the most mediocre writing lmao
Welfin and Ikalgo My Boys Also Haikyuu and Monster are 2 of the most LM reactions type shows in existence and I sincerly hope its just a poll between these 2. I can live with either winning and I will enjoy the heck out of whoever wins out of these 2 so much. I feel like some folks have not seen their Death Note reactions or at all listened to them over the years, If you're actually recommending Code Geass to them. They will despise some of the weird/random Fanservice in that show and its not on the level of Haikyuu and Monster for the type of reactions/discussions they do. Same goes for Demon Slayer, which has little to no fanservice I think, but there are so many other shows that are soooo much better suited for what they look for in characters/story etc. Haikyuu/Monster replacing HH and Frieren replacing Ranking of Kings sounds like a dream outcome
Fruits Basket is a must react. Amazing female lead and great characters all around with amazing development and story telling
Also gurren Lagann or love is war
A lot of shows have been recommended in recent months. I've listed most of them here: Recommendations for the short anime slot so far: 1. Frieren (If the show is in the poll, it has already won, 9.39 on MAL, 0.30 points higher than FMAB) 2. Banana Fish 3. Bocchi the Rock 4. Odd Taxi 5. Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu 6. Eighty Six 86 7. Your Lie in April 8. A Place Further Than The Universe 9. Ping Pong The Animation 10. Pluto 11. Rainbow Nisha 12. Baccano 13. Psycho Pass (Season 1) 14. Steins Gate 15. Dororo 16. Erased 17. Gurren Lagann 18. Cowboy Bebop 19. Usagi Drop 20. Tatami Galaxy 21. Death Parade 22. Space☆Dandy 23. Space Battleship Yamato 2199 24. Madoka★Magica Recommendations for the long anime slot so far: 1. Haikyuu 2. Monster 3. Fruits Basket 4. Jujutsu Kaisen 5. Demon Slayer 6. Spy x Family 7. Code Geass 8. Kaguya-sama: Love is War 9. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 10. Sound! Euphonium 11. My Hero Academia I've put up two polls so that we and the two of them can get an overview of what the favourites for reactions would be. Just vote. The results will be visible on Saturday evening. Lola and Milena can then choose shows for the poll on Patreon in June/July. Here's a poll for the short anime slot: https://strawpoll.com/jVyG8zwPYn7 Here's a poll for the long anime slot: https://strawpoll.com/poy9WdEY2gJ
Im surprised My Hero Academia isnt a popular recommendation since they're into shonen like HxH and the MHA's characters are the exact kinda characters they'd be into
MADOKA MAGICA Edit: I just want to say I recently watched madoka and it jumped into my top 5 instantly 😭
I recently watched it too and enjoyed it immensely. I was shocked to see there aren't many reactions to it
Yo guys got Haikyu and Code Geass? Both are in my top , top. Lola played volleyball? Guys you hae to watch Haikyu, it is made for you. Seriously!!
Haikyuu is awesome. I watched it last year and was captivated. It's one of the greatest sports anime of all time, or at least in the top 3. It's an excellent show even for people who don't care much for volleyball or sports in general and teaches about camaraderie and the spirit of sports teams. It makes you care and become involved with its awesome characters, even the rivals. Even minor characters have their chance to shine and grow eventually. It's just pretty good. Monster is one of the best seinen anime of all time. It's a masterpiece but it's not an easy anime to watch, with great and complex storytelling and characters. It's almost a philosophical and moral treatise on the human condition and the meaning of evil, but also about hope. It explores the duality of the human condition: how some people are capable of committing the most awful atrocities, yet there are also those who perform the most wholesome and selfless acts of goodwill even if life is not fair, and even if the results are not what was anticipated. Kenzo Tenma, one of the main characters, even with his flaws and errors, It's perhaps one of the most decent human beings from fiction.
I would love a reaction to Fruits Basket or Kaguya-sama: Love is War
Pls react to fruits basket!
This chapter is so underrated
monster would be such a good show for them to react to imo
Frieren or Steins; Gate dubbed
I agree with Frieren but for the short anime slot
Lolas not rich she just grew up in a neighborhood that had tennis courts.
I am once again recommending A Place Further Than the Universe. Can't get much better if you're looking for a show with a majority female cast
YES THIS. Does not get nearly enough love and think they'd love it, but this would fit perfectly in the shorter slot.
I'm actually worried that if you put Code Geass in the poll, it's very likely to win. And I just don't think it's the show for you, for there's too much fan service and I honestly feel that the only thing worth complimenting about Code Geass's story is its ending. If surprisingly it turns out that you actually like Code Geass after watching it, I'd rather you see Kill La Kill, of which the only flaw is its fan service and other than that it is a rarely-seen marvelous shounen-style anime with female protagonists.
Haikyu, Grand blue, Love is war, Prison school. Idk what Prison school would do to you though. Would love to see your reaction to atleast 1 episode 😂
This is the episode "the wolf" finally became Welfin to the girls.
hope code geass win
I didn't watch the video yet so I don't know if you guys asked for recommendations (thank you for the video btw), but since other people are, then I will say mine. I think you guys should watch "Monster". Ultimately I think Haikyuu and Monster will be what the options are boiled down to. And, I think Haikyuu will win. However, I hope Monster gets a fighting shot because I truly think it hits all the right notes in terms of what you guys look for in a show.
I feel Monster should be next. Take a break from Shounen. I’m willing to vote for anything than is not a shounen lol
Haikyuu is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have seen Welfin as a human, he was one of the 2 guards protecting Gyro (scene before outro ep.79/ intro ep. 80)
I guarantee you will both love Haikyuu, like episode one will be enough for you to say 'My boys'. I know it's unlikely to be on this poll, but I'd highly x1000 recommend Kaguya Sama: Love is war also, it's so damn good. For now, I'm just excited to see you so close to finishing HxH <3
If you're looking for suggestions I would highly recommend Steins;Gate. Its one of those "everyone's seen it" anime that you guys haven't watched. Been locked in the top 3-5 highest rated shows on MAL for over a decade.
Not spoiler.....since you guys already know about gyro been reborn as an Ant. The manga said that one day Gon and gyro will meet.
Glad to see an actual hxh comment in here lol
Do you guys know if the girls ever talked about One Punch Man? If they've already watched it, or intend to watch it?
They would not like it. It's an action comedy anime with very little actual story. They have talked about it but I don't remember what they said.
Code Geass is my guilty pleasure anime, but I cannot stand the level of fan service they shoved into it, not to mention the drop off in quality between seasons. It's not bad by any means, but there's so many better shows they should watch imo.
If youre taking requests, Demon Slayer would be an amazing addition to the poll. Yall would absolutely love it
Please!! An anime full of good boys
code geass would be awesome!
After finishing HH, you should definitely watch Frieren or Oshi No Ko
Both of those are shorter series that would be candidates in the Ranking of Kings slot. Monster & Haikyuu will likely come after HxH, but you should add other long series to be considered if you have ideas!
