Invincible has never had fantastic animation, tbh. Lots of jpegs I remember from season 1.

You know, now seeing the whole season and having digested it, Yeah the Invincible writing team and the comics are great. This season is amazing actually. You girls did well, don't have to wait for the second half like us
The only criticism I heard from show-only viewers was that they had to wait months for the second half. Otherwise, the second season was good preparation for the third season. As a comic book viewer, I'm not a big fan of episode 2x6. It's not clear to me why they changed that one and left the other one the same. Felt kind of weird. But I'll be surprised by the third season and what they'll do with this change. AND let's all hope for a Rex Splode or Cecil special, similar to the one for Eve. 😌

As far as I understood it, the Viltrumite genes overwrite or dominate the other genes over time. The older the child gets, the more it will resemble a Viltrumite. That's why the child doesn't look like a mixture of Viltrumite and Thraxan, but more like a Viltrumite with pink skin.
