I doubt Zeno could convince Killua to leave even if he wanted to take him away from here, not that he does want to. I'm sure he has enough respect for him to let him decide. I assume he heard from Netero that Killua volunteered for this before they even showed up, so it's not a surprise to see him, and he has no reason to force Killua to leave if he obviously wants and chose to be here, especially after Killua specifically left home to live his own life separate from them.

All I can say is, Thursday can't come soon enough.

I blame the adults for pressuring Gon for this mission. Yes Gon could hold his own weight but at the end of the day he’s a child. Kite was the closest thing to Gon as a father figure and imo I think the rage from Gon stems much deeper but imma just wait to give my full thoughts next ep. Lol

when gon is reunited with kite in this arc i always thought that gon saw a certain father figure in him, partly because kite is the closest to his father and apart from the guilt for his death i feel that it affected gon a lot to lose that figure of confidence and security that kite gave him. it saddens me a lot to see gon so vulnerable and unprotected, because in the end he is a 13 year old boy with traumas of abandonment, HE IS A CHILD SOMEONE PLEASE HUG HIM. and on the other hand i find it hard to compare what happened to kirapika with what happened to gon, because kurapika had already been planning and thinking about how to kill the spiders for a long time, besides he is between 17/18 years old and i think that age range makes a big difference with a 13 year old boy and his mechanisms to deal with the death of someone. i don't think one trauma is more shocking than the other, i think both were of immense pain in the life of both of them. Last thing, it always makes me laugh how right and wrong the things you guys discuss are, you are so close and so far away at the same time haha, as always very good discussion. can't wait for the next episode. <3

I do love HxH but Togashi definitely doesn't do female characters well. All best boys here. The only relevant female character in this arc is Palm and she's problematic in many ways. Even Bisky as great as she is, her ability is to give massages and phantom troupe girls all have domestic duty abilities - needlework, vacuum cleaning etc. It's not the best for representation.

People are gonna jump me but the stuff with Wolfin or whatever that chimera wolf name is such a drag tbh compared to the other things happening at the moment. I wish we didn’t spend much time with him. Since I think y’all already watched the next episode I’m curious to see how you react to that episode… next week can’t come soon enough !!!
