Lesson in Loyalty: Development Update #11

Hey there, Loyalty Crew!

It’s been a little quiet around here since Part 1, we know. Not because we were taking it easy, quite the opposite. We’ve been buried in the Steam version and the new chapter at the same time, and now it’s time to tell you what we’ve been working on.

Chapters 1-4 are getting a full rebuild

You already know we’re rewriting the first 4 chapters for the Steam release. Right now, that’s what takes up most of our time. We’re tightening the story, rebuilding scenes so your choices actually matter in those chapters too, and re-rendering the characters with the looks they have today. So anyone who opens the game for the first time will see the Lesson in Loyalty you know now, right from the very first scene. And you’ll have a good reason to play those chapters again.

So, where’s Part 2?

The changes to the first 4 chapters directly affect Chapter 8 as well. If we had released Part 2 before fitting it properly into the new structure, we would have had to rework the same scenes again a few months later. So we chose to do it once, and do it right.

Heading toward the season finale

After Chapter 8, there are only two chapters left in Season 1. Side stories are wrapping up one by one, and the focus is now on the main story. For Lilie, Ashley and the rest, things are moving faster as the finale gets closer. And in the finale, you’ll see where all your choices lead.

Steam Wishlist

Small but important reminder: have you added the game to your Steam wishlist yet? Wishlists help Steam recommend the game to more people, and they directly feed into the budget we need to develop new chapters. If you haven't added it yet, it's one of the most valuable things you can do for us right now. Sharing the page with your friends helps us a ton too.
