Lesson in Loyalty: Development Update #10

Hey there, Loyalty Crew!

Let's get straight to it: v0.8.0 is coming this month. Unless something unexpected comes up, you'll have the new chapter in your hands before the month is over.

We missed the date we gave you last time, and we'll be upfront about why. Back in April we had to step away from development for a while, and getting back into it took some time too. Around the same time we were reorganizing behind the scenes, and some new faces joined the team. All of that pushed the timeline first to late June, and now to this month. It's a temporary slowdown, and in return you're getting a much steadier flow of updates going forward.

But we weren't sitting around either. Chapter 8 is done. It was always coming as part of the story, but take it as our way of making up for the delay too. We think it turned out to be a good one.

And a little spark to leave you with: things get pretty heated with Rosa in this chapter. We'll leave it there. You'll find out the rest when you play.

On the game side, the hardest part is behind us. Scene development is finished and the renders are underway. After that we move into testing, where we'll redo a few poses if we need to and clean up any render errors. If everything goes smoothly, we'll get it out to you as soon as we can. The moment we lock in a firm date, you'll hear it here first.

Steam Wishlist

Small but important reminder: have you added the game to your Steam wishlist yet? Wishlists help Steam recommend the game to more people, and they directly feed into the budget we need to develop new chapters. If you haven't added it yet, it's one of the most valuable things you can do for us right now. Sharing the page with your friends helps us a ton too.
