English Stadium Announcer coming soon!
Hello all, hopefully everyone is readying up for the World Cup with the club season over and done with. I'm sure its gonna be great and being over in the Americas I can imagine it will be very eventful.
Since the latest release of the Pes17-19 Callnames, I thought I would update the English Stadium Announcer. I've been meaning to do this for a while and eager to get it complete for this weekend mainly to help with players who want to play the World Cup in-game as the real life action is unfolding.
So for this weekend, I intend to add updates for both the teams and the players.
For teams I've already added tonnes of goal scoring comments for club teams and national teams. I'll provide a full list closer to release time. Along with these I've ensured that all World Cup teams have these along with the substitution and lineup comments. I feel these help to personalise the action. So lookout for "Substitution for South Korea", "and the lineups for Portugal" and "Goal for Paraguay" style of announcements.
So between now and the weekend its going to be difficult to get the amount of players added that I would like but I'm trying to add as many as I can to hopefully help the announcer identify the players. There is already a tonne in the existing in the pack prior to the update but the more the merrier.
So hopefully things progress as I expect, in the meantime if there are any players you want the Stadium Announcer to recognise, please let me know and I will add them for you :)

I remember it from the last DLC they did for the Qatar WC on whatever FIFA that was, 23 I guess. Modders are using it now on the WC mods for FC26 (WC rewind and RTWC) albeit with limited success. Sometimes he’ll announce a goal or sub, more often not.

Bro Smokepatch pes 21 uses the ID 151624 for Yamal. Please add it to the announcer mod. Thank you
Hi Montel Grant, is there a reason why Smokepatch didn't use the real ID for Yamal? from my understanding they would normally use real ID's for example with team ID's. 151624 is for Jonathan Pitou who is a real player. So if I give him the Yamal announcement then it would mess up for everyone else that uses him. So it would make it difficult to make this addition for you. Can you request with the Smoke team to update Yamal to the correct ID? that would be easier and you would get all audio correctly playing for Yamal not just the announcer.

Is there any chance of switching the voice to a US one, with no home and away, “let’s hope they can turn it around in the 2nd half” element. The mancunian announcer seems way out of place at WC games. Only kidding I know you can’t, but would be nice to have the old FIFA US announcer like is being used on the current FC26 modded WC patches.
Hi sipowicz71, it would be possible though certainly not in time for this World Cup but it would be possible to build for the future. What version of FIFA had that announcer that you are talking about?
