Podcast #3 - My MMA GOAT List
A while ago I created a system for ranking MMA fighters and I figured I would share it with my loyal patrons!
I created this numerical system so that I can contextualize achievements and get a rough idea for when fighters had done enough to be compared to the great we all know and love.
But don't take it too seriously! Most of these fighters are still actively competing, so even trying to make a list is a bit silly for a nascent sport like MMA.

But great system! It’s hard to talk about the GOATs
Wow GSP just above Jones!!! Very controversial!lol but I will admit in retrospect I have criticism that I didn’t have when he was active. Like beating kos with the jab was impressive but then on rewatch your like wait…kos doesn’t know how to counter the jab? lol makes you look back at GSP with a lil salt. But he’s still the GOAT in my bias eyes
GSP and Jones are literally 1 point apart in my numerical system, so they're essentially the same and it would be very understandable if you put Jones above him.
Awesome list and system of ranking! If you wanted to go into more depth on the top 5 or 10, I'd definitely listen
