Prep for UFC 300 with a Pereira vs Prochazka Breakdown
Even though the fight didn't make it out of the second round, there was a lot to take away from Alex Pereira's fight with Jiri Prochazka.
Even though Prochazka had success with his blitzes and even with some grappling, it was ultimately the low kicks of Pereira that decided the terms of engagement and forced Prochazka to desperately swarm.

Coming into the fight I had serious doubts about Perieras ability to both get away from, and take the shots of Jiri. While defensive flaws are obvious, the power he carries has such a force to it you have to be wary at all times, it's a much more beautiful fight than I give it credit for, Bravo on this breakdown as well
Nice breakdown. Pereira seems so defensively flawed, but his power and instincts for the counter always mean that you can't get reckless on him.
