NX Optimizer / UltraCam Beta 16 Tears Of The Kingdom
Hey everyone, these beta patch notes were delayed for a while, while they were up on the website for about a month now, I'm posting them all at once on Patreon/Kofi for now. I want to remind all of you that UltraCam has been heavily worked on, but things were cut out due to real life issues stated in the previous post.
These Patch notes are for Beta 16 released on January 20 2026
How to Get/Install the beta Guide
TLDR:
This Update focuses a lot on internal changes, the goal of the update is code re-organization and turning UltraCam into a library, this is still an on-going project and has been worked on between beta 16, 17 and now 18. If you are wondering what this means, it essentially turns parts of UltraCam code into an active library that can be used to develop mods for other games, TOTK UltraCam is extremely complicated therefore it takes a lot of time for this to be done. Obviously this update had a lot of bug fixes, features and crash fixes too.
