Detroit Become Human Part 7 Can Androids Fall In Love?

You should have shot the guy that ran away
Starting on at the beginning of the episode, I got curious. How do you handle clients with self harm issues who start leaning heavier into things like BDSM and more dangerous kinks? For instance, someone stops cutting and picks up on some physically pain inducing activities, like choking or hitting. Is it still considered self harm to you, or would it be framed more as progress and reframing the need to sh? (Taking into account a partner who is willing and trusted.) my mom always taught me “Safe, Sane, and Consensual”, but what if the activity isn’t necessarily safe? Is it still healthy? I need a psychologists view on this ^^
What was so great about the message - human rights for humans AND androids. While demanding rights for themselves, it addresses a gigantic elephant in the room: even equal rights for humans isn’t universal, and I’m willing to bet androids have noticed where humans have chosen to ignore their own kind’s struggles.
So touching that despite the Jerrys inherent distrust for humans (and likely rightly so), one look at Alice and it’s automatically “we must make the child smile” - and it’s one small thing that made Alice happy for the first time this entire game. Wish more people could learn this simple example.
I really, really hope/can’t wait until it’s revealed to the in-game public that Kara has been protecting Alice from an abusive father - the same man that claimed to be attacked by the same android. And for added measure, let’s reveal his red ice abuse as well.
I can't believe I missed most of this stream because it was earlier than I thought it would be and I was sleeping most of the day :(. At least there is this. So excited. :)
Really awesome to see the character gallery; I've watched a dozen or so playthroughs of this game and had no idea that even existed. It's great to get more background info about the characters and world. 2:11:00 Ed I gotta ask - did you recognize the actor who plays Carl?
