Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Episode 6

People are crashing out because Suba-- sorry, Rudeus isn't suffering enough for cheating on his tradwife with a loli (Roxy), and they feel every other character is glazing him too much.
A common critique I see is that Rudeus isn't punished specifically for violating young girls, because they don't leave him when he acts gross. He suffers for unrelated things. For them, the story seems to reward his worst behaviors by giving him a happy family with the girls he alledgedly groomed to love him by playing the role of savior for them at an impressionable age. The critiques tend to be around the subconscious messaging Rudeus' story may have on readers in similar circumstances. They think its subconscious messaging rewards the perpetrator, and disregards the victim. Why have empathy for the predator, when so many victims are rare afforded the same grace? Isn't forgiving them disregarding the trauma of person who was violated? Something like that... People think that people like Rudy are too often forgiven in society, and put him last on the list of people who should be empathized with... BTW, while the LN changed the contents of the introduction of Rudeus jerking off, however the anime depicts a camera in a bathroom with a young girl... the LN that changed this slightly hadn't released when S1 aired. So its unclear what the circumstances are for the anime...
