Reminder: Mahou Arms Access will be Based on Lifetime Pledge Amount starting on July 27th
As mentioned in this post, access to version 1.0 of Mahou Arms through the Launcher will be changing on July 27th to be based on lifetime cumulative pledge amount instead of your current Patreon tier. "Access" means the ability to install the censored and uncensored versions through the Launcher. This change is to be fair to people who are buying the game now that it is released.
If your first pledge was before March 27, 2026, then the required lifetime cumulative pledge amount is $29.99 USD or higher. However, if your first pledge was after March 27, 2026 (after the price was increased on stores), then your lifetime cumulative pledge amount will need to be above $39.99 to access version 1.0 of the game and a steam key.
This change will take affect on the day Mahou Arms releases: July 27th. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments or reach out through dms or discord.

I bought the game on SEKAI PROJECT then subscribed here (linked in launcher). Nothing affects me right?
No, this is only for people who use Patreon to access the game. Anyone who has purchased the game on another platform doesn't have to worry about it.
""Access" means the ability to install the censored and uncensored versions through the Launcher." But people who have lifetime pledged a lot but are not currently subscribed do not have access to download via the launcher (I don't think, unless you changed it)
They will have access. It has been changed.
So a little confused on how this works. I bought the game on Steam last week and subscribed to the Patreon to get access to the uncensored version. I'm still able to access 1.0 and the uncensored version on the launch day through the launcher since I bought the game on Steam right?
Subscribing to the Patreon is not necessary for uncensored access if you've purchased the game on Steam. You can use the Patcher here to make your Steam version uncensored (no login required): https://mahouarms.com/downloads
Sorry for being new here and potentially having missed some posts (patreon search function is really subpar on their end lol). If I'm planning to buy the steam version come launch time will I still be able to use the uncensored patch on the website or will I need the launcher version to do this? I know steam is a bit weird with patches
Hi, yes you can patch the Steam version with the Patcher on the website https://mahouarms.com/downloads there's no problem with that. For what it's worth it's also possible to log into the Patreon Launcher with Steam and install the censored/uncensored versions of the game that way too. However, most people prefer the patcher since you can still start the game from Steam and earn achievements, etc
If I have the Steam version I’m good right?
Yes, this only affects patrons who use the Launcher to download and install Mahou Arms.
