Do NOT Download Any Games from My itch Page
My itch haccount is currently compromised and under the control of a hacker.
Thankfully, I’ve been able to recover my Patreon account, but I still do not have access to my itch account. The attacker is pretending to be me, making posts, and has even uploaded new games to my page.
There is a very high chance that these uploads contain malware.
Please DO NOT download anything from my itch page until I confirm that the account is fully recovered and secure.

Yes, that version was uploaded by me directly at the time, so it’s safe. It’s very unlikely that the files were replaced after the account was compromised, but I removed them anyway just to eliminate even the smallest risk.
Can you post a public download here so we can get a clean link?
I’ve just recovered my itch.io account as well. The page is currently temporarily taken down, but once everything is sorted out, the game will be reuploaded there.
How did you get hacked?
I’m not 100% sure what caused it. I ran Malwarebytes and quarantined the suspicious files, then had GPT and Gemini take a look at them. Based on that, it seems very likely that one of my Chrome extensions was the source of the issue.
I saw the games but they didn’t look nothing like your usual art style so I knew something was up

The hack happened about 4 days ago, and since the last update for New Family on my page was 44 days ago, it doesn’t seem like that file was modified. However, just to be safe, please do NOT download it. Also, two new games have been uploaded to my account — those were uploaded by the hacker. Do NOT download them under any circumstances.
I downloaded MNF yesterday before I realized the account was compromised. I think it's clean or at least it was when I did it. A commenter who did download the sus games said it asked to make changes to the computer (he declined, no worries) and that made him start posting that the page may have been taken.
