Miu's World 0.2.2 is out: Tail Vore, Villi, and a Rebuilt VR Menu

Miu's World 0.2.2 is live! First off, thank you. This update grew so much during development that we stopped calling it a patch, and that only happens because you keep supporting the project month after month. The full changelog is at https://miusworld.com/news but here's the tour.

The performance fix everyone will feel

The main scene went from about 28 fps to over 100. A drool effect had quietly stacked 32 copies of itself on Miu and was re-skinning her entire body several times a second. She looks exactly the same as before. The game just runs the way it always should have.

Tail vore

Miu can now wear a living manticore tail. It has a flower-petal maw, its own hunting brain, and full internal throat geometry you see from the inside. When she catches you, the tail can win the roll instead of a grab or stomp: she plants herself over you, the tail blooms between her legs, pulls you in with a visible suction vortex, closes its petals around you and swallows you slowly down a lit, wet throat that ends in her stomach. From there the usual route applies.

Two things must both be on for this to happen: the tail equipped as her tail in any dressing menu, and Tail Vore enabled in the fetish menu. If it never triggers for you, check both.

Real villi

Her intestines are now lined with roughly a million small dome-tipped villi. Actual 3D geometry, not a texture. They regenerate every frame from her live gut surface, so they follow every squeeze and peristalsis wave and scale to the local tube. To keep performance flat they only render near you, so seeing them appear in the distance is intentional, not a bug.

VR

- The acid double vision is gone. Each eye was computing its light rays slightly differently, and they now agree exactly. Reflections and the underwater transition match between eyes too.

- The main menu was rebuilt. The bedroom TV shows the real menu, same Play page as desktop, and three dressing boards stand near Miu herself so you can change her look at full scale and watch her react. The old teleporter capsules are gone.

- There's a real pause menu now: settings tabs, sliders and controls, laser-clickable, with the game frozen underneath. It includes a new VR Comfort section (turn mode, turn speed, snap angle, teleport toggle) and the Controls page shows controller bindings instead of keyboard keys.

- Being grabbed no longer forces your view around, being dropped into the stomach no longer slams you through the floor, and locomotion is far more responsive than before.

Miu got smarter

- She tracks you through the whole journey now: swallowed, stomach, intestines and beyond, in every scene. She no longer assumes you escaped while you're being moved deeper.

- In the feeding scene she sees the actual food laid out and plays along with being fed. No more answering "You!" to every question about what she wants.

- She knows what she's wearing, notices when you redress her, and knows which room of her home she's in and where she last saw or heard you (without magically knowing your hiding spot).

- Insults have consequences. Call her something nasty and she goes into a chase she will not drop until she catches you. She calms down after. And if you tell her where you are in chat, she can decide to actually walk over and check. Lying to send her across the house works exactly once per lie.

Quality of life and fixes

- Typing to Miu no longer triggers gameplay. Keystrokes in the chat box were firing the flashlight, grapple, dash and item actions mid-sentence.

- New installs no longer start with a bald, naked, textureless Miu.

- Her eyes can no longer get stuck closed, and expressions no longer freeze after she talks.

- Ultrawide (21:9 and 32:9) layouts no longer overlap.

- Shaders are pre-compiled on the boot screen, so first launches don't stutter and single long frames can't fling the camera anymore.

- The maze exit is always open now. The old exit was locked behind a tiny unlit cube that effectively nobody ever found. The key is gone, replaced by an optional glowing treat that makes Miu happier with you.

- New settings: VSync, an FPS limit, a voice volume slider for Miu, and mouse sensitivity that now applies to normal first-person play and updates live.

- Hold Left Ctrl to walk at half speed. Useful in the maze, on ledges, or for approaching Miu carefully.

About multiplayer

I know a lot of you want it, so let me be straight about where it stands. Multiplayer needs serious testing, and before that we have to answer one big question: how should people actually connect? Something like VR social game, a small hangout, a hosted game session? We're asking you directly: what do you personally want out of multiplayer? Your answers decide what we build first.

We'll also run polls for anyone who'd rather not comment publicly. Polls are 100% anonymous, even to us. We know this kind of content makes privacy matter, so anonymous is always an option here.

Thank you again for making this project possible. See you in 0.2.2.1.
