2 Year Anniversary: ODST vs HELLDIVER

2 years ago - ODST vs HELLDIVER released. It was meant to be a one time skit, but it went explosively viral, millions of views in the first 12 hours.

Sadly I do not have a video today (a bit exhausted) but very far along a special mini episode with Maddy and Jumper - as they reflect on past events and the most popular moments along their adventure!

I did not know I people wanted this so bad and caught me off guard LOL

But... a little reflection on the show:

Born from the Halo content drought and my general frustration with Halo - I thought it would be fun to make more parodies on the channel instead up giving up or entirely pivoting away from what the channel is all about; Halo.

And if it hasn't been obvious, the show has been a massive experiment....

Not only for my personal journey of skill building on comedy and story building - but also something way more thought out, hilarious, and fun for future animated work of mine.

For better or worse I really have fallen in love with these characters.

The goal has always been to make viewers laugh, and know every time they're gonna get something original and unexpectedly fun.

Funny enough I was actually supposed to play Diver - and the other actor was to play Jumper. I was in such a bad mood that day (I don't remember why) - we swapped roles and I became the straight man (Jumper) and my friend played the idiot and over-theatric Helldiver. It was meant to be. I am so proud of all my actors and their hilarious work over the years. They've done a great job - and elevated the show so much.

I've hit some mental walls lately - hence why animations slowed down. The last thing I wanted to do was to rush out Ep 10 - or Chief N DOOM ep 5. But alot of progress is being made across the board.

That's it for now! Can't wait for 5 year anniversary ^^
